I have a dog at home. His name is Chewie. We rescued Chewie when he was a pup and have loved him since. As a family we have loved on other dogs also, big and small dogs, and I want to share my joy and love for my our dog with you, too. I am currently mostly a stay at home mom who is also involved with my community. My goal in pet sitting/boarding is to free you to do the things you want/need to do so that you can return and enjoy your fur baby. I want to help pet parents to love their pets well and enjoy the things they do and know that their pets are safe, loved, well-taken-care of when they are away. I enjoy the outdoors and take my dog out often. I am happy to take your dog out with mine if that is what your dog will enjoy also. We have about an acre of free space on our property and have a smaller fully fenced in area for your dog to stretch their legs. Chewie is a friendly dog and a good playmate. He is now more mature, but is still energetic at times. He is well behaved and gentle around other dogs, but he will stand up for himself if other dogs become aggressive around him. Before we finalize booking, we will schedule a meet and greet at my home so you can check out my home and also decide if this is a good environment for your pet, and vise versa. Crate trained dogs are welcomed. I also welcome dogs who might not do well with crates. I’m willing to set up a sleeping area for your dog if your dog does not do well with crates. Our pets generally do not go on our furniture and I expect other large pets to behave similarly also. Thank you for trusting me with your dog!
