Maria was so very kind and kept me updated with sending pictures of my fur baby while out of town. She accepted a very last minute stay and was super easy to communicate with!

Marcia watched our 2 dogs for 8 days while we were out of state vacationing. She did a wonderful job and provided photos of the dogs very frequently. She’s also quick to respond if you reach out. Will be using her again in the future.

Schedule

As someone who’s retired, I have the time and flexibility to fully dedicate myself to pet care. My daily routine is centered around the dogs I watch whether that means long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company throughout the day. I’m home the majority of the time, so your pup will never be left alone for long. This allows me to follow their schedule closely and give them plenty of love and attention.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a secure, fenced yard for outdoor time and play, and my home is calm, clean, and pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome to roam, nap on cozy beds, or play with a variety of toys. I can provide crates if needed, follow any feeding or medication routines, and keep things consistent with what your pup is used to. I only take a small number of pets at a time to ensure plenty of individual attention, snuggles, and supervision throughout the day.

Pets

A typical day

I love keeping pets engaged and happy! Depending on their energy level and preferences, we’ll go on relaxing walks, enjoy backyard playtime, or have indoor fun with toys and games. I also love giving belly rubs, brushing, and just sitting with them for snuggles or quiet companionship. For more active pups, we’ll play fetch or explore the neighborhood. I tailor the activities to each pet’s personality to make sure they feel comfortable, stimulated, and loved.

It’s important for me to know your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs ahead of time. I always ask about their energy level, favorite activities, feeding schedule, medical needs, and how they do with other animals or new environments. Knowing things like whether they’re crate-trained, have any fears (like loud noises), or need help with anxiety helps me provide the best possible care. The more I know, the more I can make them feel at home!
