Pet care experience
Your pet's 2nd home 🏠❤️🐶🐾💕
In our home 🏡❤️🐾🐶💕 your pup will be safe, happy and well looked after so you can rest assured to enjoy your holidays, day out, long shift or whichever reason of absence. ****************************** Licensed Doggy daycare/Home boarding 🏡🐾💕 for small to medium, fully vaccinated FRIENDLY DOGS. ****************************** KENNEL COUGH is a highly contagious disease so this VACCINE is mandatory for all licensed pet services in the UK. 🙏 ****************************** NEUTERED MALES only but unspayed females are welcome. Sorry, no females in heat. ****************************** We are currently registered under Lily's Fur Guests Doggy Daycare and Boarding Ltd - fully insured and compliant to The Animal Welfare Law - UK. Up to date with the Derby City Council fees. Animal LICENCE N°1080381, renewable date: 20/08/2027. ****************************** I am a fully qualified pet sitter holding the following up to date training: - Level 3 (VTQ) Certificate in Professional Dog Care - Level 3 (VTQ) Pet 1st Aid Certificate for Pet Professionals - Level 4 (OTHM) Diploma in Health & Social Care Management. ****************************** I've been taking care of dogs all my lifetime. I am kind, infinitely patient😂 and caring. Will go out of my way to give your 4-paws baby all the reassurance required for a happy stay with us. I am really good and experienced with nervous pups 😅💕🐶🐾💞 ****************************** I am under work-from-home basis on my laptop at steady pace. ****************************** So I'm able to let our Lily and your dog go in the garden every 2hs for a bit of fresh air, toilet and exercise. ****************************** Our Cockapoo Lily🐶 loves company, you can tell she's so happy when we have fur guests staying (: ****************************** In the evenings we all go for a nice DAILY WALK to one of our two local parks about 5-10min away. Once there, your fur baby will enjoy to run or simply sniff around safely on one of our loose 15M long training leads. ****************************** I'm very aware of your feelings as a pet parent and aware that SEPARATION ANXIETY can happen to both, to comfort I will send you a few pics with a short video from your pup during the entire stay. However, everyone needs are different so can also adapt it to your choice if you prefer the updates just every now and again or even twice a day. A few families prefer no pictures or updates during their fur baby's boarding as it would trigger their separation anxiety. No judgments here, I'm happy to follow the adaptations that suits best each pet/family needs. I'm happy either way, it all can be agreed during the MEET AND GREET. Talking it through, we'll find the best way to ensure you'll be able to enjoy your time away in a complete peace of mind. ****************************** We have a tall safety gate to our carpeted upstairs so no 🐶🐶🐱🐱 in the human beds, neither fussing in the laundry baskets. This is our only boundary. However, downstairs they own the house all day, there is plenty of space for them to play freely, snooze on the sofas, kitchen, utility area and conservatory. All downstairs spaces have water proof flooring 🙏☺️ ****************************** Our home has 2 barriers from/to access the street (porch + front door & garden gate + a 2nd garden gate). Hence our 4 stars City Council Licence for home boarders. ****************************** Our 2 indoor kitties 🐱Lucy & Charlie🐱 are 100% dog friendly, they just don't bother about dogs but they're are the main reason we only accommodate small to medium friendly pups. Charlie truly believes he's a dog, have videos of him playing with them😂 The female kitty Lucy even snoozes on the sofas with our fur guests, but she is afraid to death of bigger pups. ****************************** I accepted bookings a couple of times from taller pups and the poor thing sheltered herself upstairs for weeks in a row so NO Problem if your pet it's small or medium but a bit chunky (usually the case of French Bulldogs, Pugs or Dachshunds) but if we're talking about a taller breed like Border Collies, Labradors, Husky, German Shepherd, Staffy, etc. Unfortunately our home won't be a good fit... Therefore it wouldn't work for a few repeat bookings from tiny little ones that are also afraid of bigger/taller pups. Their family book the trips around our availability, sometimes a year in advance. ****************************** Our kitties are the typical fluffy Ragdolls, we let them in the garden for a morning wonder but they basically sleep around the house most of the time. Neutered/spayed they have no aggressivity at all. King and queen of their 2 high cat trees, they only get down when I'm around or when they already got used to the fur guest🐶 but would certainly get stressed with other felines in the house so WE DON'T BOARD CATS, sorry🙏 Only drop-in visits (up to 5miles🚗 from our address). ****************************** Important: the kitties food balls are wall mounted, on top of a high cat tree, no small to medium dogs can reach out! The litter tray is hidden inside a wood cupboard against the wall, also away from dogs reach. Only a kitty is flexible enough to get access to it. ****************************** Many thanks for considering our home a good place to kindly take care of your fur baby. Your pet will become a temporary member of our family and receive same attention and cuddles ours get! 😍🐶🐾💞 ****************************** Now if your 4-legged baby is small to medium sized, neutered (no active males/unspayed females welcome) up to date with vaccines (including kennel cough) and friendly with other pets, please drop me a booking request, I'll check it on my availability in order to arrange a visit as per meet and greet first 🙏🐾🐶💕xx

A typical day
- Breaks to get fresh air, toilet and exercise in the backyard: At around 7:30am then every 2hr or so. In the busy season where we can get fully booked (4 fur guests) the pets breaks on the backyard are in groups of 2 at time. We adaptate it to your dog needs if required, in order to avoid breaking your pup's current routine like giving him/her garden breaks every hour or less (young puppies or senior dogs). I'll follow your choices. Your pet, your decision : ) - Evening: a nice walk to one of our 2 nearby parks, at around 4:00pm on cold weather and after 6:00pm on warm months. - Dinner before or after the park, it depends on your pet's feeding schedules (I separate them for the meals, so each one can eat their own food in peace). - If staying for the night: I'll provide a last little toilet break in the backyard before we all go to bed, around 10pm. - If your pup isn't crate trained, no problem, I'll make sure to find the best arrangement for a peaceful rest. A full bowl of water will be available for each pet. I can section the house (downstairs) in 5 independent spaces for the night, our Cockapoo sleeps in her big crate at the living room. Pups non-crate trained will sleep in their own room overnight as it can be: the hallway, kitchen, living room, utility or aclimated conservatory. Only crate trained dogs will be together in the living room with crates doors closed to ensure their safety. No crates during daytime, if so, will keep the door open so the pet is free to go in and out. We don't allow pets upstairs on our beds, this is our only boundary. They are free to enjoy the sofas and everywhere else downstairs all day long 🐾💕
- 0 to 7 kg7 to 18 kgUnspayed females accepted, neutered males onlyNo females in heatMarcia can host up to 3 pets per night
- Meet and greet is essential before to commit. We'll exchange all the information and paperwork legally required. In occasions, when I spot signs of separation anxiety or any challenge behaviour, I'll offer you a few hours (free of charge) trial before to agree if our home is (or not) a good fit for your fur baby. It's all about the pets wellbeing 🐾💕 When the booking comes around, your little one will remember the house, us talking and our pup Lily so it all together will help both of them to settle and share the space nicely 🐶🐶🐾💕 We had pups "locking the paws as putting the breaks on" when they had to go home as were having too much fun in their doggy youth club 😍😂😂😂 This doggy holiday it's a marvellous way to socialise your pet🐾💞
