We were very disappointed with how our dogs and home were cared for. We very clearly explained our expectations regarding feeding the dogs three times a day (we have a great dane at risk for bloat which is fatal) and walking them twice a day/an hour or two total a day (we have an energetic husky). We have a ring doorbell so while we were on vacation we had a terrible time preoccupied by the amount of time our dogs were clearly left alone. One day they left at 7am and returned at 10:30pm and the dogs were never walked and clearly their 12p and 6p feedings were missed. During the 8 days we were gone they walked our dogs 15 minutes twice. We also told him that our dogs aren't left in the backyard unsupervised because the great dane barks at the neighbor's dog and the husky eats dog poop and gets sick. We've been home for two days and our husky is acting ill like he ate poop and now he's not eating. Our neighbors told us it seemed like the dogs were left outside unsupervised a lot. We also know that they had people over to our home 3-4 different times. They never asked us how we felt about them having friends over to our home. And they did multiple loads of laundry including a comforter (enough that our neighbors noticed the washer and dryer was on frequently and our detergent was noticeably used).

Frijol had a great time at Marcelo’s. Marcelo was very good with Frijol and Frijol seemed happy and well-fed when we picked him up. Marcelo’s large yard and friendly dogs were perfect for Frijol who is used to having lots of space.

Your dog will catch an infection from his unclean & filthy home. He is very unprofessional, not attentive to standard care of pets, and overall untrustworthy. If you have any common sense do not use him as a sitter. You truly get what you pay for.
