Hello! My name is Marcela and I am originally from Guatemala. I am 27 years old and I live in SE Portland. I am a circus artist and an animal lover and will care for your best friend as if they were mine. I can walk your pet, play ball with them, or simply make sure they are comfortable and happy! Feel free to send me specific directions if your dog has a particular allergy, diet or requires any play or exercise. I live with a puppy and a kitten and I love them dearly so unfortunately for the time being I am unable to host. My puppy is staying with grandma until next week so I have some availability these days. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or mellow and easy going, I will match their mood and make sure they have the best possible time while away from you. I look forward to meeting your pet! Lastly, I want to make sure no one has to come home to a messy space and will ensure you bedding, kitchen and common areas are clean and ready for you to relax when you return. If you would like me to also do a deep clean of your home or any specific area, I am happy to add that as an additional service :) I work from home so and am available most days! Id be happy to work alongside your fur baby or check on them and take them out during my breaks. My schedule is quite flexible especially if I know ahead of time so I can prepare accordingly :) My goal is to help your pet feel at home and safe while you are away. Please let me know any and all things I can do to comfort and entertain them so their time spent away from you goes smoothly and quickly!

Marcela was fantastic! Our dog had a rough start with a new dog sitter but she was so communicative and patient with us and her. She was so great about trying different things to make our dog more comfortable and it was all great in the end! Thank you Marcela. We will definitely be using her again.
Marcela did a great job watching out pups and our house during a three week trip. She dealt well with Walter’s special issues including a pretty gross bout of leaky butt. We will definitely use her services again.
I was losing sleep over picking a dogsitter and I am so lucky we found Marcela. She gave us frequent photo updates of our nervous dog while we were in London. Marcela is the best!
Marcela is a fun, free spirit, just like my dogs. She did an amazing job taking care of my home and checking in frequently while we were out of State. We look forward to having her sit for us again. Thanks Marcela, you were great!
Marcela was hired to come help with two interesting pups, one a German shepherd Rocco, with ocd. The other, Stevie, a blind from birth Malamute with huge trust issues. Within the first few visits Stevie was following Marcela outside, taking treats and getting love. Rocco thought she was amazing from the get go, and just followed her around getting butt scratches. We can't say enough good things about her care and her patience.
