Home away from home for your dog 🧡
- I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so your dog will have loads of company and attention throughout the day. Whether they enjoy playing, walking, or cuddling, I'll make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you're away. My goal is for every dog to feel completely at home and to receive the same care and affection I give my own. - Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals and have cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including German Shepherds, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Boxers, Irish Setters, Bichon Frisés, and rescue dogs. I also have three years of experience as a dog sitter through a platform similar to Rover in my home country, so you can trust that your dog will be in experienced and caring hands. - I have a friendly little Pomeranian called Archie, who loves the company of other dogs. To provide the calmest and safest environment possible, I only accept one booking at a time (alongside Archie) and welcome small to medium-sized dogs. For daycare, I accept a maximum of two bookings at a time, also for small to medium dogs. This allows me to give them my full attention, guarantee they’re safe, and follow their routine/needs as closely as possible. - I understand that leaving your dog with someone new can feel like a big step, especially if they already own a dog, which is why I'm always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before confirming a booking. I want both you and your dog to feel completely comfortable and confident before their stay. - As an optional extra, I also offer bathing for an additional fee, so your dog can go home fresh and clean after their stay 🛁🫧

Marcela was an absolute star. Cookie loved her time there and had a great time with Marcela’s dog too. They got on so well and Marcela was so good at sending us update and photos/videos to show how relaxed Cookie was with her. First time using Rover and Marcela did an outstanding job. It was also the first time I took a short vacation without my dog. Marcela sent several posts and videos each day that helped immensely with my discomfort in being separated. My dog did very well with Marcela. It was me that had separation anxiety! I couldn't recommend Marcela enough! This was the first time I'd left my puppy with a dog sitter, so I was naturally a bit little nervous, but she made the whole experience so easy! She made sure I felt comfortable, kept me updated with lots of photos and videos, and it was clear Picanha was happy and well looked after 😍 Marcela was also really reliable and flexible with timings, which I really appreciated. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. Marcela looked after our 1 year old Cavapoo for a week when we were on holiday; Buzz had a great time playing with Marcela's dog Archie and was well looked after. Buzz is a fussy eater and doesn't eat dog foods, Marcela managed this with no problem. Buzz had a great time on his walks and we were sent regular photos and updates from his daily adventures.
Marcela is incredibly sweet and caring and I can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, clean, welcoming and loving environment for their pup. Marcela takes good care of my two dogs and provides regular updates with photos, giving reassurance that they’re safe and having fun!

Schedule
I’m a self-employed private English teacher and work full-time from home, with a flexible schedule and breaks throughout the day. I am totally free during the weekends. All in all, your dog will rarely be left alone and will have plenty of supervision, company, and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
- We live in a clean, spacious flat, right next to a beautiful golf course and lovely walking path, giving us plenty of opportunities for enjoyable walks and exercise. We also have a fenced garden in the estate for toilet breaks in between longer walks. - Back at home, there will always be time for play, relaxation, and lots of cuddles. Archie (my dog) will surely love to play with your dog, too, if they’re into that. If not, he’s more than happy to respect your dog’s space. - I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and videos, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for.
Pets
A typical day
- I work from around 10 to 6 pm, with 1- or 2-hour breaks throughout. This gives me plenty of opportunities during the day to give your dog loads of attention, cuddles and toilet breaks. Also, I can have the dogs close to me at all times when I'm working, which allows me to monitor them at all times. - I usually take my dog for walks during the afternoon or evenings, when the path and the golf course are quieter, but I am more than happy to adjust to the schedule your dog is used to. - At night I also enjoy playing some fetch with Archie in the living room, where we have enough space for some running around. Before bed, we cuddle on the sofa while I watch or read something, and then we head to bed. Doggies are not only allowed on the sofa and in my bed, but they’re more than welcome on them.

- Besides following your walking instructions, I’m also happy to stick to your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, medication if needed, and any other special care requirements. In case you’re unsure of what type of information you should provide me, I send a very short questionnaire ahead of the booking, in order to understand all your dog’s needs. This will make sure I can provide them the best time during their stay. In general, please let me know what time and how much your dog should be fed, how often and for how long your dog should be walked and any other characteristics of his routine you deem relevant for their stay.
