Over the years (even before ROVER.com) we have had countless doggy guests spend time with our family when their owners were out of town and we loved every one of them. Apparently they loved us too because some of them kept coming back. When your dog stays with us as a guest, they stay with us as a family member.

Information Marc & Jayne W. would like to know about your pet
Every guest is different. During the meet and greet, we will ask questions to help us get to know more about our guests' energy level, potty habits, likes / dislikes, feeding schedule as well as any pertinent medical history or any special care instructions. This helps me to provide our guests with the best experience possible. For everyone's safety, all guests must have their vaccinations current as well as be on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Please note that out of an abundance of safety for your pet and the other pups in the house, please have ready a copy of their vaccination records FROM A VET in order to board with us. Guests must be current on Rabies, Bordetella (6 months), DHPP, Lepto. and be on Heartworm and Flea/Tick prevention. Potty / Pee : All guests MUST be housebroken to go potty outside. Occasional accidents are OK. But if it is known that your pup pees/poops inside the house more often than usual, or if your pup tends to mark furniture inside the house, then perhaps we may not be the best choice to care for your pup. Guests that have been observed marking inside the house will be provided with a belly band to wear during their stay. We apologize but WE CAN NOT accept pups that use puppy pads for any reason unless it's used in the course of medical recovery. Spay / Neuter : At this time, we can ONLY take pups that have been spayed / neutered. i.e We will NOT be able to accept pups that are not spayed / neutered. Meet & Greet Before Stay : Please also note that in most cases, we would require a meet and greet at our home (San Lorenzo) before your pup stays with us for the first time. Hopefully this will put you at ease that your pup will be in a great environment and get along with our pups. When Boarding, Please Provide : - Enough food for the duration of the stay (you are encouraged to bring more just in case). - Doggie Beds Optional (Please label with your pup's name). - Leash with collar / harness. - Special care instructions & medications if necessary. - You may provide food bowl (labeled with your pup's name). Water bowls are not necessary. - Optional special item (bedding, blanket, toy etc.) which may help to make your pup comfortable in a new environment. (labeled with your pup's name). Need a Ride? Pick-up and Drop-off's available! We provide transportation for your pup within 15 miles of San Lorenzo. Check our pricing page for the latest rates. Pick up and dropoff timings are between 7 am and 8 pm. Timings outside this window will incur a additional $15 charge (on top of the regular transport charge) each one way trip. For Clients requiring Pick-Up / Drop-Off on the Peninsula: We live on the East Bay and we will be charged tolls to cross the bay bridges to the Peninsula for Pick-Up & Drop-off. An additional fee of $7 for a single trip (i.e Pick-up OR Drop-off) and $14 for a return trip (i.e Pick-up AND Drop-off) will be added to your total cost to help offset these tolls.

BOARDING AND DAYCARE : Our guests have unrestricted access to our house (and couch). We have a well curated backyard where our guests love to hang out. We'll often find the doggos in the backyard lounging in the sun, playing fetch with me or playing tag with each other. When the weather is nice (and with parental permission via the questionnaire) guests may enjoy a splash in the kiddie pool. We have lots of toys which we rotate in and out which our guests have access to. If our guests are not already tired from playing, they can enjoy a twice a day walk around the neighborhood. Occasionally there may be a field trip to the doggie park with parental permission. Note: We will occasionally be out of the house while we are dropping our kids off at school, out for a meal, while we are out on sunday mornings or for various errands. In such instances, we will always make sure that your pup is safe and secure INSIDE THE HOUSE before we do so. Pups will never be left outside when we are not at home.

Welcome to Marc & Jayne's Bed and Biscuit. We offer dog BOARDING, DAYCARE and DOG WALKING Services. We’ve had 3 dogs in the last 19 years. We've nursed them as puppies, nurtured them grew with them, and had had to say goodbye to one of them in 2017. One of them was even blind in her later years. All 3 had uniquely different characters, likes and dislikes. And yet we've nurtured them within our family.

Thank you!!

Our dogs had so much fun with Marc who’s a trainer too and taught them to stop barking!

We are a repeat client and have only the best things to say about Marc & Jayne - they are truly family for our dog Maple! Thank you for taking such good care of her like your own and being understanding of our needs 💗

Marc and Jayne really care for our little dog. We always have a solid discussion before and after each drop off and pickup, which instills a lot of confidence that we’re on the same page. Our dog is calm and content after she returns home, and we think that says more than anything we could think of. Thank you!
