100% hands on care
I have cared for cats and dogs of all ages, breeds, and conditions for many years. Taking care of animals is in my blood, so when you trust me with your animal, you will know your fur-baby is in the right hands. I am passionate about animals having a home where they can thrive, so their owners can have a stress-free day at work or worry-free vacation. I do assist with dogs with special needs. Separation anxiety, administering meds, puppies in need of training, as well as seniors. I am happy to watch your dog/dogs in your home for the day and/or night. I typically will be with them starting in the evening, until the next morning, and I’ll leave for a comfortable time the dog can tolerate, which can be discussed during the meet abs greet. Walks, playtime, cuddle-time are part of the package. They will have my attention 100% of the time we are with them. My family and I will adjust to their needs, because while your animal is in my care, they are our priority. We make this a team effort, so your loved one will never be lonely. I understand the importance of trust, so I always prefer a meet and greet to make sure everyone feels good about the stay. If timing is off, and a meet and greet is not possible, considerations are definite. I understand, life happens. I CONSIDER ALL BREEDS, INCLUDING BULLY BREEDS. I’m currently booking house sitting and drop ins. For doggy daycare, I will provide the service at your home. Unfortunately, I am not able to dog sit in my home at this time. I’m currently working part time with horses during the day, but am able to care for your pet after I’m finished from the afternoon to the next day. Overnight stays and drop in visits are my specialty. I do have children, so I prefer pets that are child friendly, as they come with me from time to time. I prefer to take care of your pet in your own home, so they feel more comfortable while you are away. It helps keep their environment the same and doesn’t require them to adapt to huge change.

We had the pleasure of having Maranda watch over our two dogs and two cats during a recent 3-day weekend, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! From the get-go, Maranda was incredibly professional and radiated a genuine love for animals that immediately put us at ease. Each day we were away, Maranda sent us updates along with adorable pictures that not only brightened our days but also reassured us that our furry family members were in the best of hands. Her attention to detail was evident in her updates, and it was clear that she was not just watching over our pets, but truly caring for them. Our dogs and cats took to Maranda right away, and she went above and beyond to ensure they maintained their regular routines, got plenty of playtime, and received lots of love and attention. Coming home to happy and content pets was the best indicator of the outstanding care they received. We are incredibly grateful to Maranda for her exceptional service and the peace of mind she provided us while we were away. She is a true gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitter.
