Marah can look after
Availability
I am looking for flexible work so that I can finish writing my novel without letting the burden of finances fall completely on my husband. I figure walking and caring/sitting for animals to help keep my family fed is a great match for me, my personality, and my love for animals. I used to work 13 hour days, an hour from home, so I understand the importance of a pet nanny and would be honored to help you with that need!

Safety, trust & environment
My two fur babies, Lily (9 year old Ragamuffin kitty) and Ellie (5 year old German Shepherd) have different personalities and co-habitate beautifully, but I would not want to introduce other animals into my home. Both of my girls are rescues from different shelters (Angels for Animals and One of a Kind Pet Rescue) and they both lived stressful lives before me so my job is to give them sanctuary and love. That said, in regard to care, Lily is pretty self regulated. Every other day, her food bowl is re-filled (no, you can't see the bottom of the bowl but she's my sweet princess who gets what she wants) and her kitty litter is scooped every other day and changed as needed. Ellie is a rescued Puppy Mill momma who grew up in a very confusing way and is forever married to routine. To keep her happy and healthy, we let her out same time each day (7am) where she eats 1.5 cups of food, potty break at 12pm and again at 5pm (1.5 cups). Ellie's gets let out 3 times a day, per her wants because I try to let her out more and if she doesn't have to go potty, she turns around and lays on her Tempur-Pedic bed. Otherwise, when the weather is appropriate Ellie and I take a minimum of a 15 minute walk in the park behind my house. I hope this description helps you trust that your fur babies will consider me "Auntie Marah" soon enough, and that they are in safe and caring hands with me. I am happy to answer any questions!
Information Marah B. would like to know about your pet
I do not have a breed preference, but please provide special instructions, in advance, for your pets care needs. I am pretty flexible and easy going, just let me know what you need and we will always work something out!
A typical day
With respect and within the parameters given, I will make the day about your fur baby. I have an F150 with a a crew cab, so I have room, safely, to transport your fur baby to the park, for pup-cups, doggie parks, hiking in the state park, etc. Otherwise, if your fur baby likes to catch a ball, we will play fetch. If your baby likes to play tug-of-war, I am wearing my play clothes and getting on the floor with your pup. If your pup has separation anxiety, I have some soothing sounds to play and distract them (I use this method for my big baby, GSD, Ellie during storms and it helps soothe her to sleep). Long story short, I will play with your pet however they prefer; this isn't about me, this is about them.

Heartfelt Care & Happy Tails
Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm where I cared for a range of animals from chickens to cats. From there, I have always had a pet to share my heart with. I have had guinea pigs, cats, dogs in my own home and have yet to meet an animal I don't get along with.
Reviews

Marah took such good care of BamBam. She helped with medications and treated him with loving care. I’m so grateful for her help.

Marah is a very reliable and genuine pet lover. We have two very large and spoiled dogs and she had an awesome approach and feel for gaining their trust and attention. She was very communicative and we were extremely comfortable leaving our pups in her care. We highly recommend her and hopefully she is available every time we need her!

Marha has been a blessing to our fur baby Maggie! She makes sure our dog gets all the cuddles and attention she needs. Not only does she go out of her way to care for our fur baby but also looks after our home with the utmost care. Marha leaves our home spotless and goes out of her way to make sure everything is neat after she leaves. We are so grateful we have such a reliable and dedicated fur baby sitter. Thank you Marha.

Marah was wonderful! She was extremely kind and easy to work with. Communication was great! We couldn't have asked for a better 1st experience with Rover - it was so stress relieving to know our pets were safe at home with Marah. We came back to happy pets and a clean house!
