Your Pup's Home Away From Home!
I've never lived in a home where there wasn't at least one dog. Growing up, my parents always had 1-2 dogs and I was always very involved in taking care of them. In high school, I dogsat for friends and family. In college, I rented a room in a house where the family living there owned a dog and I helped take care of it. After college, I continued to dogsit. I also volunteered at a dog shelter and fostered a few dogs before adopting one of my own! Since then, my husband Zach and I have had over 5 years of dogsitting experience and have watched all sorts of dogs, big and small, young and old. You can feel safe leaving your pup with us, no matter their size, age, or special needs. We will treat your dog just like our own and make them feel right at home :)

Last minute booking - my dog was well cared for and happy when I picked him up. They were accommodating to my schedule change to pick him up early and sent happy pics daily
Flexible and friendly!
Mara, Zach and Roo were excellent hosts! Very communicative and flexible throughout the entire process. Great daily updates with lots of photos. Our dog is getting older and has daily medication needs and they took amazing care of him without hesitation. They even helped our anxious guy weather the daily thunderstorms.
Mara and Zach were great! We felt safe leaving Carl with them. They provided photos daily and updates on how he was during through the whole weekend. They made sure Carl got his exercise taking him on multiple walks as well. Thank you so much! We will definitely be reaching out next time we need boarding for Carl!

Schedule
Being a dog owner is not a part-time job. We make sure to constantly keep up on everything - water, meals, toys, treats, potty breaks and walks, baths and nail trims, flea and heart worm meds, and so much more! We make sure our pup gets lots of walks and treats and gets a birthday celebration and doggy advent calendar every year. To us, she's not just a dog, she's part of our family and we treat her as such. This is the same treatment we'd extend to any dog in our home! You can feel safe and secure knowing your pup is being treated in the best possible way, having all their needs met and being given lots of love and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
My husband and I have a two-bedroom home with a completely fenced-in and gated back yard with lawn. We have a small 10 pound dog that lives with us. We hope your dog and ours will be friends, but if they're not, we have plenty of space to keep them separate, so you don't have to worry about them not getting along. We make sure not to have any plants, scents/oils or foods around that could be toxic to dogs. We both work from home and at least one of us is is around to supervise at all times when home. We are very responsible and when we do go out, we never leave the house for more than a few hours. While I hope you'll feel safe trusting your pup to us, I'm also happy to send photo updates of your dog if it gives you peace of mind.

A typical day
We are lucky to live near several parks and are able to go on several walks (or runs) per day. We are happy to throw a ball or play with any favorite toys. Or if your pup is a couch potato, that's ok too! Just let us know what you'd like from us and we'll do our best to keep your pup as active (or not) as you'd like.
