Pet care experience
I have loved animals since I was a kid. We always had pets...cats, dogs, bunnies, ducks, chickens, fish, rats, mice, even an iguana! I am very comfortable with animals, they are my soul friends and make me feel whole. In the last 5 years I have watched kittens to senior cats, as well as senior dogs, and am comfortable with senior care including giving medications. I will always make sure your family member is given ample love, that their water and food is clean every day, and have no problem picking up after them. It is my priority to make sure they are as comfortable as possible while they are away from their human. :)

Mara is the most amazing pet sitter! She has pet and house sat for me multiple times and I always come home to a clean home and happy pups. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and cares for your babies just like you would. One of my pup’s had lots of medications and Mara was very attentive to her needs, making sure she got them at the right times and in the right dosages. I can’t recommend Mara highly enough. There is no one I’d trust more to look after my pups!

Information Mara Y. would like to know about your pet
If you're able to let me know how your dog does on walks when passing people and other dogs, that would be a great help so I can keep them safe and happy. I enjoying knowing any details about how your pet engages with humans, what they like and don't like, if they have a favorite toy, if they like to be held or pet a certain way. Anything you can share I would greatly appreciate so I can take the best care of them that I can.
A typical day
I love to play fetch with puppers, take them on walks so they can sniff their hearts out, cuddle as much as they want. Same with kitties, if they have toys they like to play with I will happily oblige :) I love to hold animals, pet them, brush them, what ever you need and what ever your pet enjoys, I'm happy to accommodate. :)

Availability
I have a full time job, Monday-Friday 8-5. When it comes to house/pet sitting I can do that any time of the week before and after work. However, at the moment I don't have a car and am walking/busing, so I may not be able to do drop in visits/walks during the week unless they are fairly close to where I live/work in West Seattle.
