I grew up around animals of all kinds on a farm and had the privilege of owning and loving our dog, Betty Lou for 14 years.

I had a wonderful experience with Mara! My dog is large, energetic, and needs a lot of exercise and attention, and Mara handled her incredibly well. It was clear from the updates and photos that my dog was getting plenty of activity, care, and affection throughout her stay. Mara gave her a warm, comfortable environment and treated her like part of the family. We came home to a happy, well-exercised dog, which says everything. I would absolutely trust Mara again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter, especially for big, active pups!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Mara. She did twice daily drop ins and walks with my 3 Australian shepherds and kitty in my camper and followed all my crazy routines/ niche camper instructions to a T. She was timely, communicative and I know my babies were loved on in my absence. My trip ended up being delayed >30 hours and ended up with 3 additional checkins. Mara and her flexibility are the only reason I stayed sane throughout my ordeal- knowing above all my family was taken care of. 10/10. I would recommend Mara to anyone looking for peace of mind any time they need to leave town!
Mara and her family are pet lovers and care deeply for their pets. They are responsible when taking care of other pets and very attentive to pets needs.
Mara is a kitty-cat enthusiast and pooch extraordinaire. She had a lovely rotty mix named ‘Betty Lou’ for fourteen years who had all the walks, romps, and love a dog could ever have. Her current clutch of cats are adoringly cared for. In short, Mara will take better care of your furball(s) than you do!
