I have taken care of pets for my entire life, from childhood into adulthood. I’m a certified Veterinary Assistant who’d love to look after your dogs (I give the best back scratches and belly rubs!), cats, birds, and any one of your treasured pets while you’re away. I’m the mom of one special needs dog, Joker, who I adopted from the SPCA in 2015, and I previously cared for an older special needs dog with a serious medical condition for about three years, until she passed in 2015. I’m trained in animal CPR, giving medications, animal behavior, and animal nutrition. During 2017, I babysat 14 cats and dogs, and I have a five-star rating on Rover as of this writing. I absolutely love to walk dogs and I’m eager to hear what you think is the best walking and care routine for your dog, so that I can take care of your best friend the same way that you would. We can play inside and take long walks, get plenty of exercise and I will send you lots of pictures. I have experience working with many breeds--of all ages and sizes--and dogs that require special attention or have medical conditions. I have plenty of experience caring for cats, too. They’re very special to me and I look forward to chatting with you about the best way to take care of your cat while you’re away at work or for the weekend. Schedule
I work full time for the State of Vermont in Bennington, Vermont. I am able to take care of pets certain times during the week and open availability on weekends!

I live in an apartment. If I am caring for your dog in my apartment, we will take frequent walks. I will take your dog for a visit to Petco if you are ok with that!
A typical day
I will pet sit cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens! Let me know what your pet likes and doesn't like and if they have any fear so I can make their experience the best. I love animals and will treat your best friend as my own while in my care.
