A typical day
It’s important to me to maintain the routines your pet may already have in place, especially how they like to play or exercise! I love walking dogs and discovering new paths and parks. Play time with cats is so important to keep them stimulated. I love playing with my own cats, and it’s fun to see what toys and methods clients have for playing with theirs!

Mara has been an incredible dog walker, and we truly can’t recommend her enough. Her communication is always clear, timely, and thoughtful, and she asks great questions to make sure she fully understands each dog’s needs and preferences. She takes the time to do a meet and greet to ensure it’s a good fit for everyone, which we really appreciated. After each walk, she sends updates and photos, which gives us so much peace of mind and something to look forward to. Mara is consistently honest, reliable, and takes her work very seriously—especially when it comes to entering clients’ homes and caring for their pets, which is so important. We trust her wholeheartedly with our pups, and it’s obvious they feel comfortable and happy with her too. She is truly exceptional.
Finding Mara was like a gift from heaven. She was so responsive before and during her time petsitting our dog Max. He fell in love with her and was truly loved by her. She took him on walks, played with him and he clearly enjoyed being with her. And she left our house perhaps in even better shape that when she arrive. She definitely wins the award for best pet sitter we have ever had from Rover
