I am free for walks or check-ins early mornings from 6:45-7:45AM, during lunch time every day but Tues/Wed, and all evenings after 5PM! Saturday’s and Sundays are usually wide open!

I prefer to watch pets in your home, as I’m in an apartment with no yard. Happy to do pop ins to feed them, let them out, and go on walks!

Before watching a pet, I like to know about their personality, routine, energy level, and any special needs so I can give them the best care possible. It’s especially helpful to know about feeding schedules, medications, allergies, favorite activities, potty routines, and how they interact with other people or animals. I also appreciate knowing any triggers or behaviors to watch for so your pet can feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away!
A typical day
I love making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away! Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, practicing simple tricks with treats, and giving lots of attention and cuddles. For more relaxed pets, I’m happy to spend quiet time with them, provide companionship, and keep their routine consistent. I also love sending photo updates so owners can see their pets having fun and feeling cared for!

I grew up with pets galore, from cats to dogs to gerbils to chinchillas to turtles and fish! I grew up in Utah and just moved to Salt Lake, I’m looking for some furry friends to come on walks with me! I can’t wait to meet them and love them!

Mara is an amazing pet sitter—she quickly bonded with all 4 of our kitties and took great care of them. Mara was a life saver and we will definitely be hiring her again!
Mara did an amazing job watching my two cats. I booked with her pretty last minute, and this was our first time using Rover, and she made the whole experience easy and stress-free. She sent us lots of pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. I will definitely be booking with Mara again! :)
