I grew up with pets galore, from cats to dogs to gerbils to chinchillas to turtles and fish! I grew up in Utah and just moved to Salt Lake, I’m looking for some furry friends to come on walks with me! I can’t wait to meet them and love them!

Mara was great with our kitties during drop-in visits! Asked all the right questions about their care and sent plenty of pics to tide us over while we were gone. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
She was very reliable and communicative! We haven’t had anyone stay the night with them before so we appreciated everything she did so much.
Mara is absolutely wonderful! She took excellent care of our two kittens, was super responsive and sent the cutest update pictures. I could tell our cats loved her and I will definitely be reaching out to her again soon 🐾
Mara was amazing! She was extremely reliable and made sure the directions that I had were followed. She was caring to my cats that really just needed some love and even stayed a little longer than we had booked her for. Will definitely use Mara again!
Mara took great care of our dog! She sent tons of photos and kept me updated the whole time. Would definitely recommend and use again!
Mara did a wonderful job caring for my cat while we were away. She provided plenty of updates on how he was doing and sent pictures each day. He was not overfed and had plenty of fresh water. Additionally, his litter box was clean when we got home, which is always a relief. I can't recommend Mara highly enough - she's responsible, very kind, and has a great rapport with my cat. A+ all around!

Schedule
I am free for walks or check-ins early mornings from 6:45-7:45AM, during lunch time every day but Tues/Wed, and all evenings after 5PM! Saturday’s and Sundays are usually wide open!

I prefer to watch pets in your home, as I’m in an apartment with no yard. Happy to do pop ins to feed them, let them out, and go on walks!
A typical day
I love making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away! Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, practicing simple tricks with treats, and giving lots of attention and cuddles. For more relaxed pets, I’m happy to spend quiet time with them, provide companionship, and keep their routine consistent. I also love sending photo updates so owners can see their pets having fun and feeling cared for!

- Before watching a pet, I like to know about their personality, routine, energy level, and any special needs so I can give them the best care possible. It’s especially helpful to know about feeding schedules, medications, allergies, favorite activities, potty routines, and how they interact with other people or animals. I also appreciate knowing any triggers or behaviors to watch for so your pet can feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away!
