Hi! We are Mara and Will, and we are so glad you found our profile! My husband and I are passionate dog lovers, and together we offer a safe, loving, and reliable home for your pup while you're away. We both work from home full-time, which means your dog will enjoy constant companionship, attention, and care throughout the day. Please read before booking 🐾 Due to allergies in my household, I can only host hypoallergenic or low‑shedding breeds in my home. This helps keep the environment safe and comfortable for everyone, while still giving your dog lots of love and attention. If you’re unsure whether your dog’s breed is considered hypoallergenic, please send me a message with their breed (and mix, if known) before sending a booking request so we can check together. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home where having a dog was just part of daily life — from childhood all the way through to leaving for university. Over the past three years, we’ve regularly dog-sat for family members, and it’s become such a natural part of our routine that our home is always kept dog-friendly and ready to welcome furry visitors. Our experience also includes helping to train a family pup from the early stages, so we are familiar with routines, boundaries, and giving dogs a great structure to feel safe and loved. We can't wait to meet your pup!

Bear has enjoyed three visits now, clearly getting attention and walks throughout the stay as shown in the video montage sent soon afterwards. Yet another fabulous day for Beau with Mara and Will. As soon as we get out of the car, she pulls to go into their house and that’s no surprise - the video and photos that Mara sends in the day show she’s having a really great time with such kind people. Thank you Mara and Will 😊

Mara and Will go out of their way to make sure my little girl has the greatest day. Mara’s videos are excellent and capture a fulfilling day of games, walks, sleep time, cuddles and mental stimulation time. Mara and Will have some great toys for dogs of their own and, from what I can tell, Beau has the best day a dog could ever wish for.

Schedule
Both my husband and I work from home (9am–5pm), so your dog will never be left alone and will be surrounded by friendly faces all day long. Ideal times for drop offs are 8-8:30 am.

We have a fenced garden where dogs can play at. We have a box of toys and a dog feeding area. We live close to some very nice countryside walks. There is also a quieter park where we can take the more anxious type of dogs
A typical day
Daily Rhythm: 🕗 8ish AM Morning Walks – We start the day with a refreshing 30–45 minute walk tailored to your dog’s energy level. 🍽️ Mealtime Routine – To keep things consistent and easy, we align feeding times with our own meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—making sure your pup stays on schedule. 🏡 Workday Comfort – During work hours, dogs can chill with us in our home offices, each equipped with cosy rugs and toys to keep them entertained or help them nap peacefully. 🚪 Garden Access – Regular supervised potty breaks are available throughout the day in our secure, dog-friendly garden. 🌿 Midday Breaks – Weather permitting, we use our lunch hour to give the dogs extended time outside to play, sniff, or just soak up the sun. 🎾 Evening Wind-Down – After 5pm, we shift to quality playtime and relaxation—perfect for your pup to burn off energy or cuddle up and unwind. For Overnight Guests: We can only accommodate crate trained dogs in our house. Crates are usually set up in our lounge/dining area. We’re also happy to move your dog’s own bed outside of the crate during the day if that’s what makes them feel most at home.
