I am an Implementation Manager at a company in Downtown Denver, so I am away during the day. Currently I wake up, let the dogs out, and then get ready for my day. We will do potty times every few hours to ensure no accidents in the house. Weekends are similar schedules. I am never gone more than a few hours. I also live with my partner, so someone is almost always home to be a companion for our guests.

I have a large fenced yard where my two dogs love to run around. They're both friendly and love to play with other dogs. We also live near trails for taking longer walks too. I prefer to work with crate trained dogs for safety, but we can accommodate dogs who are not crated.

Please let me know if there are special things to know about your dog or cat. As an experienced dog and cat owner, I've had a lot of exposure to different conditions including anxiety and chronic illnesses. I also have experience with reactivity too, but appreciate guidance on your pets' concerns.
A typical day
I am accustomed to working with high energy dog breeds. I love to play nose work games with dogs as well as setting up puzzle toy challenges to simulator dogs mentally. My neighborhood has a lot of sidewalks for walking. I also love taking dogs to Westminster City Park to walk. I try to cater my activities around stimulating dog-inclusive activities.

Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I have also always lived with both cats and dogs. I currently have two herding/LSG dogs so understand the nuances of many breeds, even some of the more high maintenance breeds. I have done extensive training with my dogs so enjoy taking time out of the day to do training minutes and reinforce training with my two dogs. I also co-owner two kitties as well. I love animals dearly and put their needs above my own.

Mara took great care of my 2 cats while I was away and sent updates and pictures during every visit. I will be reaching out to her when it's time to go away again.
Mara was phenomenal! Our cat and dog were so happy to have someone watch them while we were gone for a couple of days.
I was so nervous leaving my kitten for the first time, but Mara made me feel so comforted with updates and photos! She is clearly an animal lover and my kitten warmed up to her right away. We will definitely be using Mara in the future to take care of our baby!
