Hello, I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life growing up on a farm and always had canine and feline companions. My father was veterinary trained and passed on some of his knowledge to me. I love all creatures great and small. I started my own dog walking business at 13 and now work as a nurse caring for our two legged friends. I’m comfortable with all sizes and types of animals. Not task is too big. I’m comfortable walking multiple dogs. I’ve pet sat for friends and family on countless occasions. I look forward to caring for your best friend. It would be my honor. I pay attention to detail and leave your home exactly as I found it. Any pet messes will be cleaned up immediately upon discovery. My goal is for your pet to feel comforted when you aren’t able to be there. I value communication and update my clients after each visit.

Mara went above and beyond and in addition to watching our dogs, house and rabbit she cleaned the rabbits cage! She is truly awesome!

Mara did a really nice job watching Mercury and Poseidon. Both dogs were very relaxed when I got home, so I know they were well cared for. Poseidon is almost 15, so he needs some extra love and I could tell from her communications that she was very patient and loving with him. I will definitely use Mara in the future!
Mara watched my dog Red at my house for a full week and did an amazing job. She is responsible, clean and provides consistent updates and pictures. I will use her each time going forward. Highly recommend.
Mara did an amazing job looking after my fur babies. She was super attentive and was very inquisitive to make sure she took care of them just as I would want. Highly recommended and I would definitely book her again!
Mara was terrific with our 2 dogs, and they are NOT easy to pet-sit, very high maintenance. Each trip, we returned home to find the dogs happy, clean, well-groomed ( a real challenge with our breeds, a very shaggy Golden retriever and a brambly Airedale terrier ), energetic, and content. She will walk your pets more than YOU normally do, I promise. Sher just really loves animals and that shines through whenever she pet-sits. HIGHLY recommend.

I look forward to giving pets the time they deserve and need. I’m adaptable when it comes to my furry clients. I find it helpful to set up a meet and greet before accepting a booking, that way both parties are comfortable and agree that we are a good fit.
