Affectionate&caring cat/dog lover!
All I wanted growing up was a pet, so when I finally got cats I was elated! Not only have I been responsible for taking care of my cats and others, I have also been charged with feeding, walking and taking care of dogs too. I love any type of animal and believe that my enthusiasm and sense of responsibility enables to be a reliable and caring pet sitter.

The most important matter when house sitting a new animal is to make them feel comfortable! I find it extremely important to follow all of tips and tricks that the owners provide you related to their lovely pet and to be responsible in not only how you take care of the animal(s) but in looking after the clients home as well.

Mara is kind, caring, and patient with my pup, Harriet. Because Harriet is shy and new to the city, Mara takes her time with her and makes her feel comfortable. Even after one week, Harriet is has come out of her shell and is excited each time Mara arrives. I trust her with Harriet and would recommend her to everyone.
Mara is a pet-lover through-and-through! Not only is she good at caring for cats and dogs alike, she’s an incredibly responsive and responsible carer. She’s a great pick to care for your pets!
Mara is amazing with animals! She has two cats of her own that she adores and takes great care of. I personally have dogs and Mara was super sweet to them. She genuinely loves animals and knows how to approach and handle them well. Mara is also very responsible so I think she would do a fantastic job taking care of your pets! :)
Mara watched my two dogs and took amazing care of them. They are the loves of my life, and I knew they were in good hands with Mara. She did everything I asked and even when above and beyond with my pups.

Schedule
I am residing in Chicago, Illinois and am in school, so I am available to take care of your beloved pets during the evenings and weekends, and am able to overnight sit as well!
