I’ve volunteered at a cat shelter and cafe. I’ve pet sit for my friends in the past. I have a lot of empathy and love for all animals (even bugs). I grew up with 3 dogs and now have 3 cats of my own. I also take care of stray cats in my community. I understand cat behavior and know when to give them space and when to appropriately interact.

We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful cat sitter! She is incredibly trustworthy, reliable, and always great about communicating and keeping us updated while we’re away. She has three cats of her own and is a true cat lover — she’s even always looking out for strays and animals that need a little extra help. Mara watched my boys; Smokey and Bandit while I was out of town. Not only did she take care of the cats, but she loved them like they were own! She made sure they were not only just well fed and had enough water to drink, she frequently checks that their litter box is ok. My boys are kittens, she made sure they were being played with and got PLENTY of stimulation. And not only did I LOVE her, so did my boys! They were done playing, and then wanted to lay down with Mara for post playing cuddles! I remember when they first met Mara, and it truly seemed like they loved her instantly! Bandit went right up to her and rubbed against her leg and started becoming the loudest purr factory! She sends PLENTY of pictures of what they were doing when she was there. She even showed me that they were helping her on her laptop writing an email! She will ABSOULTELY take care of your fur family and do an amazing job doing it! She is a big animal lover, with an even bigger heart!

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time. My days end at a relatively early time so I’m available to take care of your pets. I can and will make the time for your pets. I know how anxiety provoking it can be to leave your furry loved ones when going on trips, so I will make sure to ease that anxiety and that everyone is comfortable; especially your babies!
