Long Walks, Senior Care & Cat Care!
Pets have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember! Currently, I am a proud pet parent to a one-eyed wonderful dog (a chorkie!) and two lovely cats (one ginger, one gray-ish/turtle-ish), so my home is always filled with daily tail wags, purrs, love and pet hair 🤭. While I am new to offering pet care on Rover, I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for my own animals. Throughout my life, I’ve had the joy of raising three dogs and five cats in total, which has given me deep hands-on experience with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and care requirements. I hold a very special place in my heart for senior pets and rescue animals with unique needs: * Special Needs & Mobility Care: I previously cared for my own paraplegic dog, which taught me patience, specialised handling, assistance with mobility, and how to keep special-needs pups comfortable, safe, and happy. * Senior Pet Advocate: I adopted one of my dogs when he was already 15 years old! I understand the extra tenderness, gentle pacing, and attentive care that golden oldies require. * Feline Friendly: Having raised five cats over the years, I am deeply tuned into cat body language. Whether your cat wants energetic playtime or quiet companionship while you're away, I’ll follow their lead. Whether your pet needs an energetic adventure, a slow and patient walk, daily cat drop-ins, or gentle care for their senior years, I treat every animal in my care with the exact same dedication, patience, and love as my own 🐾❤️

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I am available for dog walks and can go to any nearby park such as Hampstead Heath, Paddington Recreation Ground, Hampstead Heath, Regent's Park. If you prefer and your dog wants, I can bring my super friendly and social dog for them to play together! I am also available to check in on your cat(s), making sure they have fun (besides food and water and a cleaned litter, of course)!

I've known Manuela for many years and have seen firsthand how loving she is with both cats and dogs. She has her own experience caring for pets, including senior animals and those with disabilities. I always joke that her home is the best rest home any four-legged friend could wish for! I would trust her with my pets any day. My only worry is they might end up loving her more :)
I can’t recommend Manuela enough as a pet caregiver. Besides having the experience of caring for pets for more than 10 years, she’s incredibly responsible and committed to causes. She has adopted a number of disabled pets and their development since adoption is outstanding. Her care and dedication to them is second to none.
Manuela is an animal loving person to whom I'd gladly trust my cat's life and know she would be taken care of! My only worry would be that Deffas (my cat) would start loving her more than me! Then I'd loose, my cat! Now seriously, a responsible and caring person always on the look out for animal's well being, with treats, pets, walks, cuddling, you name it!
Manuela is highly, highly responsible and I would trust every pet of my life with her. She has the discipline and love our pets so much need. My dog agrees, considering her reactions every time she sees Manuela! 5 star pet care!
Manuela is an incredible pet sitter 🥰 Not only because she takes amazing care of our paw babies, but also because she goes the extra mile to send us photos and updates about them along the way. She is a true animal lover, and that shines through not only in the way she cares for the animals, but also in the way she treats their owners — and even in her lifestyle choices (a genuinely sweet, authentic vegan!). Schedule
I recently stepped back from my career in tech data science to take a intentional break, clear my head, and figure out my next direction. In the meantime, I am available to take care of dogs and cats, my definite passion :)
