Pawsome Pooch Kitty Whisperess
Since the 90s I have been a continuous pet mom. Before that I grew up with animals of all sorts and have such deep love for them. Once I was able to adopt my own I started a legacy. From Kingu, a liver spotted Dalmatian and her daughter Chiquita (banana at times) I helped to birth along with 8 other puppies; for a short while my sweet kitty and vagabond Puti; adding a guinea pig living with us for 8 years named Pomi; the most loving Zoe the cockatiel, who loved to jump into the shower for a steam bath and various fish varieties in a colorful aquarium; you name it, we had it! My daughter and I created a home full of life and love shared for many years. I continued to rescue Vedder Bear the Chesapeake bay retriever needing special care for diabetes and lastly my sweetest Moumou, a pit terrier mix who turned 16 years of age. She has passed away a few months ago and my heart is sore and I am not quite ready for a new pet! However, I have a calling to be of help for all the pet moms and dads out there and share my love for our four/ three/ two legged family members! As of 2025 I can also add chicken whisperess to my profile! What a joy!! I hope to soothe your mind and heart while you are away from your beloved family member. <3

Took great care of our two dogs!
It's a huge relief to find Manu. Our sensitive Staffy was was so happy and very well taken care of! We got lots of great pics and videos and we can tell they really bonded. Olive is looking forward to her next stay!
Izzy had a great stay with Manu again! We received pictures daily, of her spending time outside and relaxing on the couch. Manu also made sure she stayed cool in the extreme heat over the weekend. We'd happily board Izzy with Manu again in the future!
Manu was great with Pumpkin! She made sure that she knew Pump's background, likes/dislikes, and anything unique we wanted her to accommodate. She gave us regular updates, including photos, so we were confident Pumpkin was doing well. Thanks, Manu!

We were delighted with all of our experiences with Manu and how she cared for our dog, Bella for four days. Manu doesn’t just love dogs! She is knowledgeable about dog health, behavior and training as well as being very perceptive about a dog’s needs. Even before Manu started, she made sure that she had all the information she needed. Then when she had a question she spoke with our contact person. Then while we were away, she sent us s wonderful stream of photos of her playing with, walking and exploring with Bella. Bella was clearly very happy about being with Manu when we picked Bella up. We all feel confident that we left Bella in good hands and hope to work with her again. Schedule
I have an online Vintage store, a local booth at an antique mall and am an Artist. Great passions and loves of mine! I work from home and I have a mostly flexible schedule, which allows me to open up time for another angle of my passions, my love for animals. It makes me happy as I am a nurturer by nature! ;-)

Frankly, it is purely selfish to care for pets! I love animals, they get my attention the minute I am around them, because their presence is special. I added as a safety precaution, a personalized “Sitter” collar tag, your pet will wear while with me. It is meant to be just in case! Recently, I had a dog from Texas here and I realized that if any out-of-town dog especially would ever get loose/ lost, I would want them to be found with a local phone number. However, this is not something I expect to happen, but I just want to make sure! ☺️ I added the look of the tag in my pictures. If the pooches are in my vehicle for a ride. I have dog seat belts (x2) I use. Each one is special! I can't help myself! I feel into the needs of each animal. Playful to shy, young to old, special needs or easy peasy. I adapt to what their mom/dad want me to tend to, as well as nurture their unique personality. What certainly helps is heaps of experience with my own pets as well as pets of others I cared for ;-) My house is tailored for dogs, as I up until recently had my dog Moumou here with me. In my photos section, you can see some images of the back yard and house. ;-) As an additional safety precaution I have an especially made "dog sitter tag" I put on the collar while your pet is with me. Even though I do not anticipate any issues, I want to assure they are easily identified.
A typical day
Please read all details 🐕 My luxury specialty is, I only take ONE dog or multiple dogs from the same family providing a tailored stay. This means your dog(s) has /have all my attention! This is why I do ask for a fee fair to also leaving a percentage with Rover. In addition, my service compensation is very affordable comparing to multi mix dogs stays! Please be aware any add ons are extra ;-) My priorities of care are about quality and tailored attention. A 1/2hr walk is incl.at once or broken up for a boarding per 24 hr period. *A 15 min walk for doggie day care per 8 hours and other wise it back yard play a potty breaks. *Walks for a longer period is assumed to be an add on service. *Walks range by the ability and comfort of the dog and what you would like for them <3 *For seniors there are shorter walks and longer ones for the energetic pooches. *Special needs will need to be an add on charge which will be discussed individually eg. medication administration/ regimen. Grooming etc. ***Please make sure to mention this to me either in your notes or at Meet and Greet***to assure the proper booking. *For the dogs that like to play fetch or other playful activities, I provide this option couple of times a day. *I will also play with the kitties that enjoy to play at their home with their fun toys provided. *Since I also have a backyard, it is where we usually would play. The dogs that come to stay at my house would have safe protected surroundings of a 6' wooden fence in an approx. 25x50' backyard. *All throughout the day, I will provide snuggles, pets, chats and what ever contributes a home feel for the pooch or cat. *I tailor the activities according to the dogs or cats likes and needs. ;-)
