I want to enrich your pet's day!
Animal lover who can't have pets at my current home, want to give that love and attention to your furry friend! As a teen, I raised two large dogs from puppydom and began practicing rewards-based training, loose-leash walking training, potty training, behavior modification, etc then. I have had dog companions in my life ever since! I have a lot of experience with big dogs and pit bull, german shepherd, husky, and Rottweiler breeds. I have had two pibble roommates in the last five years, and fostered two pibs myself in the last two years here in Oakland. I also volunteer and foster with Oakland Animal Services around my dog care commitments. As a trainer I ascribe to positive-reinforcement, rewards-based behavior training. I can only accommodate certain kinds of dogs at my own space, and am able to provide stimulation for dogs at their own space every 2-4 hours

Manny was really fantastic. Manny made specific plans (date & time) to meet me for a key and an onboarding, and was very punctual for that, which gave me a piece of mind from the very beginning. Manny even took notes during the onboarding! While we were away, Manny gave regular, insightful updates on the cats. Manny even pulled the trash can in and topped up the aquarium's water while we were away. We were put at ease during our leave, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy our time away more deeply. Even our shy cat warmed up to Manny. At the end of our trip, Manny verified with me that we got home timely and didn't need to extend care for our pets. Then, Manny returned the key to us the next day. We would happily work with Manny again in the future. This is a great, reliable sitter we've found.

Manny sat my little husky, my dog is young and high energy, but afterwards he was tired out and slept all day. They are very accommodating and caring, my dog is always excited to see them.
Manny has been helping to raise my dog since day 1. Not only have they been an invaluably natural care taker, having raised and trained many pooches of their own, but they have also taught me a lot about dog care taking along the way. Ushi is always happy to see Manny and can leave (sneak) out of the house knowing she is in very capable and sincere hands. Dogs can often be wise judges of character and mine has always been quick to offer her belly up to Manny!

Programa
I have a couple of M-F afternoon walks and am open to adding similar time commitments. I usually pet sit on the weekends, but also do longer stays as long as it is near my daily clients.
