Lots of room to run and play!

Hi, My name is Mandy. I love all animals. I have been boarding dogs through Rover since 2018. I also have 10 years of experience as a professional dog groomer. Dogs are kept inside my home with individual comfortable crates and are let out frequently for group playtime and potty breaks. I have two separate fenced yards for small and large dogs. The large fenced yard is about a half acre with plenty of room to run! Please feel free to reach out to me for questions! I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby!

Mandy is awesome! She took great care of our large and energetic 10 month old puppy, who loved being there. Mandy went the extra mile in all respects. She’s a true animal lover and it shows. Communication was great and we will definitely return. Very highly recommended!

Mandy was flexible and communicative. My pup can be sensitive and often does not eat the first day at someone else’s house, but she was comfortable and happy enough that she didn’t skip a meal. We will definitely be back.

Our pup had another awesome stay with Mandy. There is no stress or worry when Rocket is under her care. That peace of mind is truly priceless. Thank you for another great stay, Mandy!

Safety, trust & environment

If you are not aware of the current respiratory infection that dogs are catching I strongly advise doing some research and making yourself aware of the risks. It’s highly contagious. I’m still boarding up to 5 dogs at a time but I’m removing community water bowls and toys. I am still allowing group play since it is not feasible for me to isolate dogs from each other in my home. I do have emergency quarantine locations in case any dogs in my care show symptoms. I just want everyone to be aware of the risks right now and if your dogs have any symptoms at the time of drop off I may decline boarding or keep them quarantined for their stay. House sitting and drop in visits are the safer choice if it is an option for you. Your dog is kept indoors with me in my home or playing in a secure yard (also closely supervised) with other boarded dogs. At feeding time everyone is separated into kennels to ensure that there is no fighting. Also, for their safety if I need to leave to run an errand they will be separated.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day starts with a morning potty break, then breakfast between 6-8am. They will have several supervised group play during the day as well as some quiet time in their crates. Dinner is between 6-8pm, and a last potty break before bed.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
No females in heat
Crate-trained dogs only
Mandy can host up to 5 pets per night
Please let me know if pets have any allergies or medical concerns, aggressive behavior, if they are potty trained or require additional breaks (puppies or geriatric). I’d like to know if they have any separation anxiety, excessive barking or destructive tendencies. I also need to know if they are ok off leash, if they will run away or wonder and if you prefer them to be on a leash.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
