I work from home, and I am home on most weekends. With two small dogs of my own, I will be around for feeding and potty breaks, and of course, play! I also have two kids (ages 6 & 11) that like to help and play. It's a very "PawSitive Vibes" environment around here ☺️.

The yard area has plenty of shade, space to relax, run or play and is fully enclosed with a tall wood fence. Dogs that stay will be allowed to roam free inside my home along with the two dogs that I have. If your dog has any special care needs, just let me know how I can accommodate. My home has all hard floors so if an accident happens, I don't get worried about that. 🙌 My 2 dogs are up to date on all typical, vet recommended vaccinations, for everyone's health and safety. This is just a friendly reminder to all of my current and future clients: While I do my best to keep a clean and pest free space, I also count on my clients to help with that effort by keeping vaccinations current for their pets too. These include: vaccines for rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough), and DHPP (which protects against distemper, hepatitis, and parvovirus).

Information Mandy V. would like to know about your pet
Let me know know if your dog has special needs or behaviors I need to account for. I have an extra crate and can still board your dog if not crate trained. Health and safety is important. Let's do a doggy meet and greet before your stay to make sure things run smoothly. Proof of current rabies vaccine will be required if there are any biting incidents over the stay. A dated certificate from your vet is ideal, a photo on your phone of the vet vaccine record is fine. I WILL NOT accept your dog’s Rabies Tag as proof of current vaccination if an incident occurs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND your pet be current on their DHLPP and Kennel Cough vaccines. My dogs take flea and tick treatment for a pest free environment. I will consider boarding puppies in potty training.
A typical day
I am home most of the day, but sometimes need to run errands. These are usually short local trips. Dogs that stay will go outside with my dogs before I leave and out again upon my return. I will never leave your pal alone longer than their required potty breaks. I will never leave your pal alone overnight.

Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Mandy. Although I am new to using the Rover App, I am not new to caring for dogs. I grew up on a farm and lived with dogs all my life (lab, rat terriers, blue heeler, multiple mixed breeds). I currently have two playful poodle mixes (Cookie & Nacho) and before them, I had a French Bulldog (Prince) for 14 happy years. I love all kinds of dogs. Due to the setting I offer, small to medium sized dogs will enjoy it here the best. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate special requests for boarding with enough advanced notice.

Wonderful! I really appreciated her flexibility and care

Mandy was able to help out very last-minute to watch Lucky and I am SO grateful that she was able to care for him because she was wonderful! She was kind, communicative, and treated Lucky like one of her own. She even kept me updated with cute pictures! Lucky warmed up to her and her sweet pups, quickly. I would absolutely recommend Mandy to anyone looking for a dog-sitter and would book with her again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Mandy!

She did a great job at taking care of my pup. He was very happy and had lots of fun play time while there. She was very wonderful to work with on scheduling and I definitely recommend her.

Mandy was terrific with our dogs!!! Our little Lyla is very fragile and Mandy provided exceptional care. Lily really enjoyed her time playing with her new friend Nacho!! Thank you so much for being so accommodating!!!
