Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. With my background as a former veterinary assistant/technician and a degree in Genetics, I’m very comfortable caring for pets with different needs and making sure they’re safe, happy, and well looked after. I do my best to keep things calm, structured, and consistent with your pet’s normal routine—whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just relaxing and getting plenty of attention. I always follow care instructions closely and pay attention to the little details that help pets feel comfortable and secure. I also believe communication is really important, so I’ll keep you updated and let you know how your pet is doing while they’re with me. Your pet will be treated like part of my own family—safe, loved, and cared for every step of the way.
Information Mandy T. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any medical concerns, allergies, medications, or special care needs. It’s also helpful to know if they are potty trained, how they do with other dogs, and their typical energy level or exercise needs. If there are any behavioral notes (such as reactivity, anxiety, or resource guarding), please share as much detail as possible. I also appreciate feeding instructions and emergency vet information so I can ensure a safe, comfortable, and fun experience for your pet.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes a mix of fun and structure! Depending on your pup’s needs, we can go for walks, visit the park, or enjoy playtime at home with toys and enrichment activities. I also make sure there’s plenty of cuddle time and attention throughout the visit. I’m very flexible and happy to follow any preferred routines or activities you’d like for your dog.

Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Mandy. I have several years of experience working as a veterinary assistant/technician at three animal hospitals, and I currently work as a Scientist at Sanofi. I also hold a degree in Genetics from Iowa State University, although I did 2 years of Animal Science degree. I grew up with a wide variety of animals, so I’m comfortable caring for small and large pets, including some exotic and farm animals. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, and I will treat your pets like my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

Mandy was great! Sent lots of pics and videos and communicated with us regularly. Would definitely recommend Mandy. 👍🏻

Mandy was attentive to my directions for my dog. She was present and truly cared for my pup. I appreciated the photos I received. I will be booking with her again.
Mandy is incredible. If you want someone to ask all the right questions and take care of your pet like they were you. Get Mandy.

Many truly went above and beyond while caring for my cat. She sent me regular updates and pictures and even took time to play my cat's favorite game while I was gone. The temperatures in Seattle rose to dangerous levels in my absence. Mandy eased my anxiety by checking the heat level on the back of my cat's ear to make sure she wasn't overheating. I didn't know about this tactic beforehand and am grateful I could learn from her. It was a comfort knowing my cat was in such good hands.
