Dogs have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. Having been a dog mama for 15 years, I’ve experienced every stage of a dog’s life. From the high-energy puppy phase to the gentle, tender needs of senior care. I know that a happy dog needs more than just a walk, they need enrichment, mental stimulation, and a safe, loving environment to truly thrive. I treat every guest with the same patience and devotion I give my own dog Arlo, and I’m committed to ensuring your pup has the best, most enriching experience while you're away.

From the moment I first met Mandy, I felt so at peace with her energy. She’s so kind, caring and thoughtful and is so great with dogs. She’s had a kind heart and a real love for taking care of and connecting with animals of all sorts. I can tell she’s doing Rover not just for the money, but because she’s that much of an animal lover. Your pets will be in great hands.
We boarded our mini Aussie with Mandy at her home while we were away for the weekend and Mandy did such a fantastic job! She took wonderful care of our dog and was constantly updating us with videos and pictures. Our dog absolutely adored Mandy as Mandy is super attentive to her needs and walked her twice a day. We will totally ask Mandy to pet sit for us again in the near future!

Schedule
I am currently available to board, doggy day care, drop in visits and walks while in between jobs. I work in the film industry, and when I’m not working on set, I work for a home staging company part-time. I am home most of the day, minus a couple hours if I’m staging.

Safety, trust & environment
As a dog owner, I understand how a stranger caring for your pets can be a bit nerve wrecking at first. Communication is key to ease parents minds. On walks, I always ask other pet owners if their pups are friendly before approaching, and allow time for the pups to smell and socialize. I believe it’s important to allow your dog to explore their world without rushing them. Saftey is my upmost priority, so if there are any specific boundaries your dog has, I will absolutely honor those. Arlo loves having friends visit, so your dog will be part of our pack from day 1! In terms of drop in visits, I will provide love, play, affection, potty breaks, meals, or any special care needs.

A typical day
On a typical day, I take the dogs for a long walk around our neighborhood in Decatur. It’s very quiet and not a lot of street traffic, so the dogs feel safe to explore without the loud noises of a busy road. When not on walks in the neighborhood, I have a very safe, and massive fenced in yard. Your dog will have their own personal dog park! There are lots of squirrels, birds and room to throw a ball!
