My flexible schedule allows me to provide regular feeding, fresh water, outdoor playtime in my fenced yard, walks, and plenty of cuddle time throughout the day. Your pet's safety and comfort are my absolute priority. My home is a pet friendly environment featuring a fully fenced yard where dogs can play and explore safely. Information Mandy M. would like to know about your pet

Every pet is unique and the more I know about your fur baby before their stay the better I can care for them! Please make sure to share any relevant information including dietary needs or food allergies, current medications and administration instructions, any medical conditions or special health requirements, behavioral tendencies such as anxiety, reactivity, or fear triggers, preferred sleeping arrangements and daily routines, favorite toys or comfort items from home, any commands or training cues your dog responds to, and how your pet typically interacts with other dogs. No special need is too big or too small—the more details you share the more seamless and enjoyable your pet's stay will be. My goal is to make sure your fur baby feels safe, comfortable, and completely at home from the moment they arrive!

A typical day

No two days are exactly alike here because every dog is different and that is what makes it so fun! A typical day usually starts with a morning walk to get those tails wagging and energy flowing. After our morning adventure we come back for breakfast, fresh water, and some relaxed cuddle time. Midday is all about playtime—whether that is fetch in the fenced yard, tug of war, or simply running around with Finlay as the official welcoming committee! Afternoons bring another walk or outdoor play session followed by some quiet downtime to rest and recharge. Evenings are my favorite—cozy couch time, belly rubs, and lots of love before bedtime. Throughout the entire day I provide plenty of fresh water, potty breaks, and undivided attention. Every dog in my care gets treated as an individual and I always tailor activities to match their unique energy level, age, and personality!

Pet care experience

Hey there, fellow dog lovers! I'm Mandy, a lifelong dog enthusiast and proud mom to Finlay, my sweet and playful 3-year-old Shetland Sheepdog. Finlay is friendly, energetic, and absolutely loves meeting new furry friends—so your pup is guaranteed a built-in best buddy from day one! I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and as a social worker by profession, caring for others comes naturally to me. I genuinely love what I do, and that extends to the four-legged members of your family too! Because I work from home full time, your dog will never be left alone wondering where everyone went. I'm here all day, every day, ready for walks, playtime, cuddles, and everything in between. My home has a fully fenced yard where pups can run and play safely to their heart's content. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your fur baby with someone new, and I want you to feel completely at ease. Your dog will be treated like family, and you'll enjoy your time away knowing they're in loving, attentive hands. We can't wait to meet you and your pup! 🐶❤️ Mandy & Finlay

She's very sweet and calming with our energetic Mini-Aussies, and was flexible accommodating our schedule. We are lucky to have found her, and plan to ask her to care for them again.

Mandy was an amazing sitter! She took incredible care of Alfie and kept me updated the entire time. This was our first time boarding him since he is only six months and I know he’s a handful! She went above and beyond to make him at home. Will definitely book with her again. Thanks!

We are very happy with the care Mandy provided our energetic 3yr old mini-Aussies, Rocket and Luka. Even though they have some issues with separation anxiety, she made them feel very welcome in her home right off the bat and they had no complaints when I left. Finley, her Sheltie, even offered them toys to play with. Mandy updated us with pictures and reports throughout the day, and was kind enough to keep them longer than anticipated when we were delayed by our errands in town. We hope she'll be available on our future visits to Houston, as we can't picture a better place to leave the pups.
