I usually do trips to the beach or local lakes in the area once or twice a day and do a walk locally once a day. I work but my partner is home during the day and has equally as much animal care experience as myself. So the animal's needs come first and our schedule is flexible to make sure that the animal is not alone and has the attention it needs.

I have a fully fenced yard with an 6 ft fence. My fur babies can keep yours company or I can keep them separate if need be.

I do not have a breed preference as all dogs are amazing. I do require the dog to be good around cats as I do have cats. I do like to know behavior issues, where the animal is at with potty training, any type of training the owner is working on that they would like me to keep up, and how socialized the animal is and if the animals is has good recall(good off leash). I do also ask that the dog/cat is up to date on shots and has some form of flea control.
A typical day
As I stated there are several parks locally that we could walk to. We like to mix it up and drive to local beaches, state parks(we have the park pass so the sky is the limits) and throughout town. There is also plenty of space in my fenced back yard for fetch or a good tug of war game.

Hi, I'm Mandy, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've shared my world with dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, birds, fish, and even chickens and farm animals! Right now, I have three cats, a few reptiles, fish, and chickens — but my heart still has space, especially for dogs. After saying goodbye to my dog Bubba, who was my shadow and best friend for 16 wonderful years, I knew I wasn’t quite ready for a new pup of my own — but I still had so much love to give. That's why I joined Rover: to be the fun, responsible, “cool aunt” to your pets and give them all the love, adventure, and care they deserve. I offer both in-home and house sitting, and when your dog stays with me (or I stay with them), they’ll be treated like family. My home is in a safe, quiet neighborhood close to several parks and trails. We have a fully fenced yard, and my partner is home during the day to help ensure your pup gets plenty of attention, exercise, and company throughout the day. I work full-time Monday–Friday but live only 2 minutes from work, so I can come home on my lunch break for potty breaks, cuddles, or mid-day walks. On weekends, we love taking dogs on hikes, to the beach, or exploring new trails. Every dog in my care gets: • Daily photo and adventure updates(for the owner) • At least one long walk and one shorter walk each day • Plenty of playtime, snuggles, and enrichment • Safe, loving supervision and a peaceful home environment. When I house sit, I care for your home with the same respect and attention I give your pets. I don’t just focus on your furry family members — I’m also happy to water plants, bring in mail, take out the trash, and handle small household tasks to keep things running smoothly while you're away. Before I leave, I always make sure your space is clean and comfortable so you can come home and relax. That includes: Washing and changing bed linens Cleaning and putting away any dishes I use Tidying up and cleaning common areas Making the beds Cleaning up after myself and your pets My goal is to make sure that when you return from your trip, everything feels fresh, calm, and taken care of — like you never left (except your pets are a little more spoiled!). Whether your pet loves a calm lap to nap on or an exciting adventure buddy, I’m here to make sure they feel at home and happy. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone new — and I take that responsibility seriously. Let me know how I can help. Mandy was absolutely perfect! Cleo loved her, which was such a relief since Cleo can be particular about new people. Having Mandy there took a huge weight off my shoulders while I was away, and I loved receiving daily photos and updates of Cleo. It was so reassuring to know she was happy and well cared for. On top of that, I came home after a grueling travel day to a freshly cleaned home, which was the best welcome home I could have asked for. I would absolutely book with Mandy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter.
Mandy did an AMAZING job. My dogs had so much fun with her and my house was cleaner than I left it.
