Pet care is my passion!

Pet care experience

I have cared for pets my entire life and consider them members of my family. I have always known from a very young age that I wanted to spend my life caring for animals. I have six years of experience as a veterinary technician, a diploma in Animal Health Technology (2011), and can confidently give medications as prescribed by a veterinarian. I am a certified Wildlife First Responder through the Atlantic Wildlife Institute (2013) and attended the Basic Animal Rescue Course - Level 1 offered by Animal Rescue Corps (2013). I also have grooming certification through ICS Canada (2014), but have limited hands-on experience. My husband and I care for 6 cats and 5 dogs, along with fostering for local shelters and rescues. These commitments keep us busy, which is why my services are limited to drop-ins and dog-walking. My main goal with this endeavor is to help support pet ownership within an aging population for those who may have difficulty medicating or exercising their pets. I truly believe that pets are for life and basic care and exercise shouldn't be things that a loving owner should have to worry about providing for their pet. That is my main goal, but I am happy to provide services to any pet owner in search of some assistance.
