Caring for pets is woven into the very fabric of my everyday life. I built this business on the idea that I get to raise a family from home and work with the species I have built so much knowledge upon. Dogs thrive on routine and consistency so they are always monitored and their needs are met. Dogs aren't just part of my lifestyle, they're literally my life.

At our home, pets are treated like family. We focus on keeping everyone safe, happy and comfortable while respecting each individual dogs needs. Positive, reward based methods are used to help dogs become more confident and relaxed. Dogs get the appropriate balance of play, rest and enrichment throughout the day. Cleanliness is also important and we follow veterinary protocols to maintain a healthy environment. During your dogs stay with us whether its for boarding or a day of play, low stress and structured play is heavily supervised. Body language is a specialty of mine and we carefully monitor group dynamics and tailor care to each dogs comfort level. Even if your dog doesn't care for the company of other dogs, we are able to appropriately provide plenty of 1:1 time during their stay.

Currently we do not have any breed restrictions. I do want to know as much about them as possible before meeting them and making sure they have a successful and positive interaction from the beginning. Trials are required prior to any stay/daycare bookings and are free of charge. Any bite histories must be disclosed ahead of time and if your dog is a flight risk/escape artist please make note. This will not discourage me from caring for them, I just simply want to put appropriate contingencies in place. I do not utilize any aversive tools while handling your pets and they are not allowed to be brought in on any of the following: choke chains, prong collars or shock (e-collars). Vaccinations are required, proof should be provided prior to first visit. Rabies, Distemper/Parvo combo and Bordetella are all required.
A typical day
Seasonal activities include pool play, splash pads, dig pits, sniffaris and much more. The acre is fenced in and there are plenty of opportunities to be a dog! We start the day with potty breaks and breakfast, followed by structured play and enrichment activities. Midday includes downtime and puzzle toys and the afternoon is guaranteed play, training games or snuggles before dinner. Every pets stay is individually adjusted to match their personality, energy level and routine at home.

***Because Rover does not screen vaccine records, I require all clients to provide them upfront. For safety and liability reasons, I can’t host any dog without verified Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations. Once you upload the records here, I’ll immediately move forward with the booking. I understand dog body language, canine dynamics and ethology, and know how to create a safe, low-stresss environment for every dog in my care. I am a certified member of the IAABC (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants), a KPA (Karen Pryor Academy) graduate and a member of the Fear Free community, specializing i daycare/boarding environments. I am an insured LLC as well. We focus on quality over quantity, enrichment over chaos and communication over confusion. Dogs aren't left to 'figure it out' amongst themselves.
