Cat and Dog Sitter in Montrose
The most important thing about myself is I'm an animal lover, they are my passion. Throughout high school I worked as a kennel technician at Creekwood Veterinary Hospital where I would care for the animals. I would clean the clinic, walk dogs, feed animals, and give sick animals medicine when needed. In college I volunteered with a wildlife sanctuary near San Antonio, mostly I would help clean cages and bedding, prepare food, and provide enrichment. Although I now work full time I spend some weekends volunteering at the Houston Humane Society where I walk dogs, socialize the cats, and take photos for the website. I've watched many pets for family and friends over the years and I love doing it. I treat them as my own and love getting to know their personalities.

Mandilyn stepped up for me last minute when I needed someone to walk my dog with less than a day’s notice. She gave Saff lots of attention and each walk ended with some play and treats! Saff was very happy after her walks and Mandilyn sent lots of pictures!
Mandylin is great with my 6month old German shepherd mix! She is dependable and invested in giving my dog attention and affection.
Mandi was so nice, reliable, professional and consistent. We’d absolutely use her again to take care of our dog.
Our pup banjo had such a great stay. We received so many photos where we could tell he felt comfortable and at ease. We will definitely use Mandi again!
Amazing as always! Mandilyn is such a great sitter for our three cats. They love when she comes to visit them. She takes such good care of them and we’re thankful to have her. Great communication and attention to detail as well.

Schedule
I work from home so my schedule is very flexible, I'm able to do drop by visits and take walks once or twice a day.

A typical day
I care for each pet I sit as if they were my own. I treat each pet I watch with the same love and respect as I treat my own pets. When dog sitting I usually take them for walks around the neighborhood, play at the home, and maybe snuggle if they want to. I work during the week but on the weekends I'm able to spend a lot of quality time with your pet. I don't think I have a dog-sitting style exactly, I'm open to whatever will make the owners and the dog I'm watching most comfortable :)
