Passion for animals of all kind
I’ve spent the last 6 years working closely in animal rescue and fostering dogs, and it’s become one of the most meaningful parts of my life. I also grew up with dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always felt natural to me. I started out as a volunteer and quickly found how deeply connected I feel to dogs of all kinds. Over the years, I’ve fostered dogs with very different personalities and needs, from shy and shut down to energetic and playful. I stay actively involved in animal welfare work and continue to support nonprofit rescue efforts whenever I can. Being around dogs genuinely brings me a sense of calm and happiness. I’m very patient and intuitive with animals, which helps me build trust even with dogs who are nervous or unsure. I’ve learned how important consistency, routine, and gentle care are in helping dogs feel safe and secure. I always take the time to understand each dog’s personality and what makes them comfortable. More than anything, I just really love dogs and feel grateful to care for them in any way I can.

I highly recommend booking with Mandie S. We were staying in Burbank where pets were not welcome and I am so glad I was able to book at Mandie's. I knew Celeste and Rocky really enjoyed their stay because Mandie sent me videos of them wrestling in the morning, the way they always do at home. Celeste has allergies and Mandie knew just what to do because her Shit-Zu also has allergies. Mandi gave me a bag of special hypo-allergenic dog food to try at home to see if it will help Celeste as much as it helped her dog! Now that is going above and beyond what most sitters would do! Communication was prompt as was drop off and pick up.
Mandie stayed at our place to watch our beloved miniature Aussie Stormi and I could not of asked for a better person to do so! Our dog absolutely loves Mandie, when she is usually very reserved with most people. Our house was in perfect condition and was super clean! Stormi seemed to have the best time while we were gone she was so happy on all the pictures that we saw! I could not recommend any better person to watch your fur babies, I will for sure be having Mandie stay with Stormi every time we go out of town. It makes leaving stress and worry free! you will not regret it, she is wonderful!
It makes me so happy knowing Mandie is applying for Rover since she loves pets and always has taken great care of mine. I’ve worked with her for about 2 years now and I have a goldendoodle and a kitten. She’s super attentive with my kitten considering she’s only a month old! My dog has to take allergy medicine every few hours and she’s always timely and gentle with him. They love her as much as i do!
