Hi there! I'm Mandi, and I am currently self-employed so my schedule is flexible. I am a recent foster fail cat mom to two kittens. Before them, I had my soul cat for 16 years before she passed away in 2023. Before moving to Chicago in 2024, I spent a year traveling the world, where I did work exchanges and would stay in people’s houses, while taking care of their pets while they were gone traveling. I am an animal lover at heart and have 20 years of experience with cats and dogs, including kittens, puppies, and senior pets with medical issues and special needs. (Prior to my cat's passing, I gave her daily medication for a heart condition and I also helped our foster kittens heal before adopting them). Outside of pet sitting, I am a volunteer and foster parent with PAWS, the Chicago animal rescue organization. I love traveling myself and understand the importance of having a responsible, communicative, and trustworthy pet sitter while you're away to look after your fur babies! I would get so anxious when leaving my late cat with a pet sitter, and this has influenced the way I take care of other people's pets. You can expect detailed and consistent text and photo updates while you are gone (if you wish - also happy to give space if you prefer!). I am very attentive to cats and dogs, depending on their needs and energy level. Providing medication, playing with toys, brushing, or cuddle time - happy to offer whatever is best for your pet. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or considerations. I always do a FREE meet and greet beforehand to meet your pet and make sure we’re a good fit. I will treat your home as if it were mine, with full respect. I will clean up any dishes and toys I use while taking care of your pet. Also happy to pick up mail/packages or water plants.

I highly recommend Mandi! She was super communicative every day walking my dog Poppy and always shared updates/pics with how everything was going. Before walking her, she also asked such great questions about how to care for Poppy and I knew she was going to be well looked after. Would definitely book again!
Mandi has been so amazing to work with! She’s so great with Toby and gave me so much peace of mind while I was at work that he was getting a proper walk! She’s super responsive and always sends the cutest pictures and recaps of the walk!!
Mandi filled in last minute for my normal drop in sitter. She communicated with me, followed instructions, and took great care of my dog. I highly recommend booking with her!!!

Schedule
I am currently self-employed so my schedule is flexible. I am available weekdays and weekends during the morning or afternoon. I have lots of flexibility in my schedule for the next few months and also have access to a car. Please look at my calendar for full availability or message me directly if you have specific requests! Outside of pet sitting, I freelance in events and marketing and am starting to teach community yoga :)
