Hello pawrents! After many years of running Harley’s Dog Sitting in California, our family recently packed up our paws and relocated to Minnesota. While I’ve closed the boarding chapter of Harley’s Dog Sitting, I still love spending time with dogs and am available for dog walking and drop-in visits through Rover. I’ve cared for dogs for 17+ years and have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities, from energetic puppies and big personalities to shy dogs and seniors who prefer to take life at their own pace. My approach has always been pretty simple: meet dogs where they are. Some dogs want an adventure and a good sniff around the neighborhood. Some need to burn off a little energy while their humans are at work. Others mostly want a potty break, dinner, and someone to tell them they're a very good dog. ### EXPERIENCE & SAFETY I have emergency and animal CPR training and experience administering medications and caring for senior dogs. Years of welcoming hundreds of dogs into our home for boarding has me tuned to reading dog body language, handling different temperaments, and adapting care to the individual dog. I’m comfortable with all breeds and don't have breed restrictions. DOG WALKS Walks are tailored to your dog rather than treated like a race around the block. I'm happy to follow your normal route and routine, or give your dog plenty of time to sniff and explore along the way. Let me know about any leash behaviors, triggers, favorite routes, escape-artist tendencies, or neighborhood nemeses I should know about before we head out. DROP-IN VISITS Drop-ins can include potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, medications when discussed in advance, playtime, backyard time, and plenty of attention. Just tell me what your dog's normal routine looks like. Keeping things familiar is usually the easiest way to make having a stranger show up at the house feel a whole lot less strange. A FEW THINGS TO KNOW Please make sure your Rover profile includes current care instructions, veterinary information, and an emergency contact. For walks, dogs should have a secure, properly fitted collar or harness and leash available. I also use a slip leash for extra protection against houdini hound behavior. For drop-ins, please provide clear instructions for feeding, medications, accessing your home, and anything else that's important to your dog's routine. Safety, trust & environment
In your home, I follow your dog’s normal routine and your care instructions as closely as possible. Dogs are kept securely leashed on walks, and I use a slip leash as an extra layer of protection against any Houdini hound behavior. I’m experienced with medications, senior dogs, and dogs with all kinds of personalities. Before leaving, I make sure your dog is settled, water is fresh, and doors and gates are securely closed. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my priority.

Mandi was amazing! This was our dog's first boarding experience and it was definitely a great one. He's still a puppy and learning to stay away from us is something he's still getting used to from time to time. Mandi was very accommodating and super helpful before we dropped our pup off. The drop-off and pick-up process was easy and stress-free. There was another review that said the property was hard to find, but Mandi provided me the address and google maps had no issues finding it! Our pup definitely seemed to be having a good time. It was also a great experience for him to hang around dogs and kids in a more casual and calm setting. I would definitely recommend Mandi for your boarding needs!

Drop off at the property was very difficult to navigate - directions were not clear at all - we had to cancel spa appointments because it took us an extra hour to figure out where to drop the dogs. The property was incredibly beautiful and safe and the dogs seemed very happy. Both dogs were super thirsty right after pick up too so that was a bit of a concern. Overall an excellent experience and I would book again.
Mandy was absolutely fantastic! She was incredibly accommodating, even on very short notice, which I truly appreciated. From the moment we connected, she took the time to ask thoughtful questions about my dog and made the entire pickup and drop-off process seamless and stress-free. What impressed me most was how quickly my dog warmed up to her, it was amazing to see such an immediate and positive connection. It gave me total peace of mind knowing my dog was in such caring and capable hands. I couldn’t recommend Mandy more highly! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Always amazing. We’re so fortunate to have found Mandi. She’s become like extended family for our little girl.
Amazing in every way. We leave our Mini Aussie pup with Mandy and her family every time we travel and they treat her like one of her own. Simply can’t say enough good things about Mandi.
