I had my son and his girlfriend visiting over Christmas with their two dogs. We had to find someone to watch them when we went for Christmas dinner at families house. I signed up with Rover for the first time and Mandy stepped up right away to offer to take care of them. I had a house visit before the day and she was so lovely and gentle, I knew right away our pups would be in good hands. She made the dogs feel so comfortable, as well we were able to enjoy our family dinner without worrying about them. Mandy sent photos and updates through out the evening. Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I organize my days around the dogs I look after — from morning walks and feeding schedules to playtime, cuddles, and evening check-ins. I’m home three days a week, which gives me plenty of dedicated time to focus on their comfort and happiness. Even on my working days, I make sure they have a consistent routine with regular walks, outdoor breaks on my fenced balcony with a doggy door, and lots of affection. Caring for pets isn’t just something I do — it’s something that brings me joy and balance throughout my week.

Safety and trust are always my top priorities. In my home, pets enjoy a calm, clean, and secure environment where they are treated like part of the family. I have a large fenced balcony with a doggy door, allowing them to enjoy fresh air safely at any time of the day. Indoors, they have cozy resting spots, access to clean water at all times, and plenty of supervised playtime and affection. I make sure each dog’s routine is followed carefully — from feeding schedules and walks to any special instructions from their owner. I always keep a close eye on interactions between dogs to ensure everyone feels comfortable and happy. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I maintain their normal routines and respect their space, keeping everything just as the owner prefers. I provide regular updates, photos, and messages so owners feel confident and connected while they’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and at ease — and every owner feel completely reassured.

I love keeping pets active, happy, and mentally stimulated! Depending on each dog’s age, energy level, and personality, I plan activities that make them feel excited and loved. For playful pups, we enjoy outdoor walks, fetch on the fenced balcony, and fun games that burn off energy in a safe space. For calm or senior dogs, I focus on gentle walks, cozy cuddle time, and soft play to keep them comfortable and relaxed. I also like adding enrichment games — like puzzle toys, scent searches, or hide-and-seek with treats — to keep their minds sharp and curious. Every pet has their favorite type of fun, and I take the time to find out what makes their tail wag the most! No matter what we’re doing, my goal is to make sure every pet feels loved, entertained, and completely at ease while in my care.
