Loving home for your pup
I am the first to say “pick me!” when a friend is in need for a pet-sitter. I feel very comfortable around animals and love to be in their company. We, my husband and I have almost 3 years old Miniature American Shepard, Iris. We have grown her up since she was about 2 months old. We live in a house with a fenced backyard so your dog will have a good space to run around during the day. I am a full-time Rover dog-sitter so I can stay close to your dog most of the time, so that they don't feel lonely during your absence, of course Iris is here for your dog too :). I will follow a specific schedule or your dog's needs like feeding time or walking time, or anything for making your dog feel as comfortable as possible. Just let me know if you have any concerns or questions about your dogs or their stay! I am happy to talk about it and make their stay happier with you :)

Obi was in the best hands during our two week vacation. All instructions were followed perfectly, including her heartworm meds given on time! We loved the daily photos and videos. Iris was also a gracious doggie host, letting Obi sleep in her bed sometimes :) thanks for making her part of the family while we were away!

Schedule
My day starts with letting my dog go to the backyard then give her breakfast around 7 am. After having a coffee I usually walk around with dogs before the sun warms the ground up. I play with dogs with toys and fetch in the backyard a few times during the daytime, or they play by themselves if they are a good match. and go for a walk again in the evening. Feed dinner around 6 pm and do the last short walk for the potty around 10:30 pm or let them go in the backyard before bed time. We take dogs to a dog park on weekends depending on the dog's personality, or if dogs need more exercise.

Safety, trust & environment
We provide a clean, dog friendly environment for your pups. For protecting all dogs from serious disease, your dog must be UTD on Rabies, DHPP/DAPP (Core) and Bordetella vaccination during the entire boarding dates. Also, your dog must be on Flea and Tick Preventatives. We have a fenced yard so your dog can run around and get good exercise during the day safely. And living in a peaceful residential neighborhood allows us to walk around with pups without any concern like broken glasses on the ground or someone shouting across the street... I care for your dog as I care for my dog for sure. Your dog is a part of our family during their stay! A lot of plays and walks, and hugs. I will take your dog anywhere Iris goes with us so will not leave your dog alone usually, but I will ask you first if it's inevitable. We also have a lot of toys and dog beds that Iris is happy to share if your pup wants :) I wash all the toys and mop the floor once a week, vacuum clean once a day to keep our house clean and comfortable for both humans and dogs. (or more if needed) Refresh dogs water 3.4 times or more as needed. Also, I always feed dogs under my supervision so that they can have the proper amount of their own food. I can separate dogs in a different room if necessary too. I normally take one or two clients at the same time for better supervision and meeting the individual needs. It can be three depending on the demand but considering the temperament of the dogs beforehand to keep individuals happy.

A typical day
I usually play with toys a few times at home and walk 2-3 times a day. Bringing Iris (my dog) to a dog park is one of our weekend routines so we will take your dog together upon your approval if your dog likes the dog park. I brush her hair almost everyday so will do your pup's if they seem to like it too. I am also happy to help keep your dog's teeth clean if they are used to it. ( I am not a professional groomer so I cannot guarantee the quality.) We also enjoy hiking with her together :). I will do specific play styles your dog loves too!

- I will provide specific care as your instructions like specific play time/feeding/or hiding trigger stuff etc... Just let me know what your pup needs. Your dog is a part of our family during their stay! And I keep updating about your dog with pictures once or twice a day. It really depends on how they are doing, like I do more often on the first day or till they get settled and gradually decrease frequency if there's any problem. But will just keep posting how your dog's day was like. Also, feel free to text me if you want to just check-in ;) These are questions I would like to ask before having your dog over at least. I might have more depending on your dog. -What time do they usually eat? -What time do they sleep? and wake up? -How often do they need a potty break? -Do they have any allergies? ( for food, plants, etc...) -What is your dog's activity level? or activity needs? -If your dog likes a dog park, do you agree with us taking your dog to a dog park? ( especially if it's a long stay ) I kindly ask all dog owners to bring those goods for your dog. -collar, harness and leash **must -a dog bed or/and crate ( if not, we have extra beds but dogs feel relaxed more with their own ) -food ( the amount for your dog's stay + at least 2 days, any kind of food is welcomed. ) -treat ( if your dog has a specific preference! Otherwise I will give treats for Iris, like vegetables, fruits, dehydrated chicken, cheese, steamed meat etc...) -favorite toys/blankets which smell like your home ( if they have ) -medications ( if they need ) -anything makes them happy!
