I cared for my own two cats for over 5 years (they’ve since passed), and I’ve always loved being around animals. I’ve lived with dogs (thanks to dog-loving roommates and family) and I’ve dog-sat for friends for many years. I’m an expert cuddler, feeder, walker, and all-around caretaker. Whether your pup loves playtime or prefers a calm, cozy environment, I’ll treat them like family. I work hybrid, so I’m home most days, and my husband is also home most days. Between the two of us, your dog will always have company, we make sure pups are never left alone for more than 3 hours at a time. We have two kids (5 and 2), so we need dogs who are very kid-friendly and can sleep through the night. If you’re unsure about either of those, our family might not be the right fit. I’m especially great with affectionate dogs and seniors who need a little extra care and patience. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and belly rubs while you’re away! (Additional note: I’m happy to board larger dogs, as long as they’re older and super mellow. As a short woman, I just want to make sure I can stay in control on walks, and with small kids at home, I’m mindful about dogs who won’t jump up or accidentally knock them over.)

Malvika and her sweet family watched our dog, Banjo, and we had a fantastic experience. Banjo can be an anxious dog so I’m always a little nervous to leave him somewhere new but from the moment I met them, I knew he’d be in good hands. Malvika send me tons of pictures and videos (always so appreciated) and kept me updated on how he was adjusting. She asked thoughtful questions throughout the stay to make sure she was taking the best care of him. It was so reassuring to feel so at ease when he was with a new family. Thank you so much Malvika and family! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to excellent, loving care of their dog while they’re away.
Malvika and her family were absolutely amazing. This was without a doubt the best rover experience myself and my dog have had. She was very accommodating, responsive, and sent many pictures. My dog is very clearly missing her and her family. Could not recommend highly enough!!!

Malvika and her family took impeccable and attentive care of my aging husky pup, providing regular and detailed updates on his activity and working with us to come up with creative solutions when he seemed unwell during his stay. Schedule
I work hybrid, so I’m home most days, and my husband is also home most days. Between the two of us, your dog will always have company and they will get lots of love & attention. We make sure pups are never left alone for more than 3 hours at a time. Overnight Stays: We have two kids (5 and 2), so we need dogs who are very kid-friendly and can sleep through the night. If you’re unsure about either of those, our family might not be the right fit. Doggy Daycare: Happy to host your dog during the weekdays, and provide plenty of cuddles, company, and walks.

In my home, your dog will be treated like family! They’re free to roam the house, lounge on the furniture, and cuddle up with us. We have a large, almost fully fenced yard with plenty of space to explore and play (while we keep a close eye during outside time just in case). We also have great walking paths nearby for daily strolls. Whether it’s playtime, nap time, or cuddle time, your pup will get lots of attention and love throughout the day.
A typical day
Whether it’s a game of fetch in the yard, a walk around the neighborhood, or just exploring new smells on a quiet trail, I love keeping dogs happy and active. We can play tug-of-war, practice a few tricks, or just enjoy some sunshine together. For the more mellow pups, I’m always up for cuddle time and a cozy nap on the couch. I tailor the fun to your dog’s energy and personality!
