Dogs have been part of my family since 2006, when we adopted our first beagle. Fast forward to today, I’ve taken care of dogs and animals of every kind, including birds. And taking care of them is one of the things my husband and I enjoy the most.

It’s not easy to find someone you FULLY trust with your dog—especially one with anxiety—but Malu goes above and beyond to make sure Ziggy feels safe, comfortable, and happy. The bond they’ve built is so special, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing my baby is not just being cared for, but truly adored.
Malu and her husband were fantastic with our dog Marvin. We had a fairly long trip (9 days) and we didn’t worry once, as Malu’s communication was amazing and we knew our pup felt comfortable around her and her lovely dogs. We are so happy to have found Malu — Marvin can’t wait for his next stay! ❤️
My dogs had the best time with Malu! I just moved to the area and was nervous about finding a sitter for my very different dogs, Malu’s welcoming personality and home quickly put me at ease. She sent regular updates and photos and my dogs clearly had a great experience! I cannot recommend her enough.

Malu and her husband were so great! They provided lots of photos and communicated in a very timely manner. Their house was also beautiful, and the yard was great. My dogs got along so well with hers and they were the cutest pack! We will definitely be booking with them again! I recommend her to all!

Schedule
Though I work downtown, I often come home to walk our dog. My husband works from home so we would rarely leave your dog unattended for more than 4 hours. We have a closed yard with a patch of grass and live close to parks in East Austin. We are usually at home on the weekends and we love the outdoors.

I have a fenced yard with grass and space to run. We also have a pretty chill 11 year old Tibetan Terrier, who is friendly but not very active.

A typical day
We love a walk around Zilker park, Mueller, or parks around East Austin followed by a picnic. We usually walk our dog in the morning and evening, when it’s not too hot outside
