MY SCHEDULE: June/July/August: I have open availability in the summer due to having time off work. This allows me to be home more consistently with your dog! September - Early June: TH/F: I am home full time* M/T/W: I am away from home for ~9 hours *typical schedule - my work from home days do have some flexibility to be changed to a different day, if needed! I have holidays off, extended breaks, and the occasional no-school day that allows for more availability: Thanksgiving (1 week), Winter Break (2 weeks), and Spring Break (1 week). With respect for my neighbors working from home, I am unable to accommodate dogs with separation anxiety that result in extended howling/barking for hours when left home alone. *Feel free to reach out for last-minute bookings or if my dates are listed as unavailable. If I’m able to accommodate - I certainly will! 😊

MY HOME: I live with my partner who loves dogs just as much as I do! He grew up in a family who constantly fostered new dogs, so having furry friends around the house is preferred! I am the only one providing care for your dog (walking, feeding, medication, etc.), but he loves to play indoors and cuddle on the couch with any dog that stays with us. We have no pets of our own, so your dog will have my undivided attention! In addition to that, I only take one client at a time so you can be sure no other dogs will be present. We live in a condo that allows direct access to a long walking path along the river and within a short distance of a few parks. Photos of our living space are located on my profile. Your dog is welcome on all furniture and on the bed for sleeping, if that is preferred! I have plenty of dog supplies of my own that your dog may use, but I welcome any personal crates, bowls, beds, toys, etc. that would help make your dog feel more at home! YOUR HOME: I am respectful of your house rules and extra careful when being provided door codes/copies of house keys. I am mindful of leaving your home in the same condition as how you left it. I’m quick to provide updates and messages for when I’m in your space caring for your pets.

It’s important to me that I stay on schedule with your dogs typical day! Please let me know if you have particular protocols for feeding, medicine, walking, etc. I always appreciate a heads up if your dog is reactive on leash so I can walk them on an alternative route with less dog interactions.

I live right along the river and love to take dogs along the walking trail on a daily basis! I'm within close distance of parks and many dog-friendly paths. With your permission, I'm always open to including your pet in my personal adventures of hiking and other community outings.

Pet care experience
My love for dogs has been lifelong - in fact, my very first email address was DogLoverMal! It was no surprise that my first job was at an outdoor doggy daycare, and that experience sparked what has now become 15+ years of pet sitting and animal care. During the school year, I work in special education, and my summers and extended breaks allow me to dedicate meaningful time to caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve become the trusted, go-to sitter for friends, family, and colleagues. I’ve worked with energetic puppies who need extra exercise and enrichment, as well as senior dogs who require patience, attentiveness, and specialized care. I treat every dog like they’re my own - with love, consistency, and lots of tail-wagging fun (and hopefully some good zoomies!) 🐾

Malory took wonderful care of our sweet Bear. She gave regular updates throughout his stay which helped us feel so much more comfortable and allowed us to truly enjoy our trip. My husband even joked that we would trust Malory to watch our human children too! 😂 Bear has had a tough first chapter of life, so we try to provide him with structure to help him feel more secure and safe. Malory did an exceptional job sticking to his routine and even made sure his birthday was special. If we ever need a sitter again, we hope Malory will be available to watch Bear. 🫶🏼
