Dogs and cats aren't just "pets" - they are intelligent and compassionate creatures that need us as much as we need them. As a child, I've always been great with dogs and cats, building strong bonds and connections with them. I would choose them over humans any day! There were always dogs and cats in my house throughout my lifetime, and I am very used to them, and taking care of them is natural. I have experience with nervous/anxious, friendly, overly excited, elderly, and slightly aggressive dogs. I have also helped raise 2 puppies, weeks after they were born, into adults! I understand each dog's individual needs and am very receptive to their behavior.
