I have been caring for and around animals since I was born, and am comfortable with them in all shapes and sizes. I have lived on farms in Indiana, the mountains of Colorado, Ukraine, Guinea, Germany, and others. I spent 12 years in the Navy and was trained on a variety of life-saving skills and have the disposition to remain calm in stressful situations. I am trained for intense situations and can handle them if need be but what I truly love to do is foster a vibrant home life for all to enjoy While I love all animals, I particularly love being around small dogs and cats. Their energy and personalities are so intriguing and I love to get to know them and ensure they have the best day that they can. I have two dogs, one a 10 year old Chihuahua named Maple and the other an 8 year old Chihuahua mix named Luci. Both of them are reserved at first meeting new animals or people, but very soon Luci will be endlessly affectionate as she takes to people and animals very deeply and quickly. Maple on the other hand likes her moms, tolerates her sister and that's about it. She's a shadow, primarily to me as I'm in the house most of the day, and has dog beds in strategic locations around the house so a comfortable bed and blanket is always close at hand. The newest addition to the family is a hamster; Doug Dimmadone. While so much is yet unknown about him all signs point to another cohesive addition to our family. He will remain in his cage at all times other animals are present and can be hidden away if any dogs fixate on small animals. Our home is comfortable, filled with laughter and joy and I would love to share a piece of it with your precious pets, and have them share a piece of their joy with our home.
