I am blessed with ample time to shower your pets with love! I work part time and my partner is often home when I am not, so we can focus on nurturing your furry friends and providing them with the care and attention they deserve! I love what I do and I aim to make sure every pet enjoys their visit and looks forward to coming back another time. 😃 I incorporate training into our daily schedule for all daycare and boarded dogs so we can keep up with manners and basic obedience and for some added mental stimulation!

Information Mallory T. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if there is anything important to know about your pets ahead of time! Certain training you would like up-kept, rules in your home that you would like me to keep consistent, etc. I will occasionally be away from the house for errands or work outside the home so please let me know how your pet stays comfy when leaving the house (kennel/playpen/no kennel).

A typical day

I enjoy outdoor activities with pets like walks, runs, and playtime. I have sensory areas in the back yard, such as a tall hay patch (seasonal) for extra sniffing and exploring, a stick hut, sprinkler (seasonal), and more to come! The back door is basically revolving so the dogs get plenty of outside and inside time. I'm happy to work on training, playing fetch, or giving baths after muddy outdoor adventures! Baths will be given for boarding dogs who get dirty during their stay, but keep in mind they can occasionally get a little dirty again after their bath depending on the weather.

Pet care experience

WARNING: Your pet may come home satisfied and worn out from a fun filled day, and they may beg to come back and play with their new friends! I am here for your pets to give them the greatest time and leave them wanting to come back again. We work on basic obedience training throughout the day, play indoors and outdoors, explore the yard together, and give lots of pets and snuggles to make sure your pet gets the stimulation they need! It can be hard being away from home so we do our best here to give them all the love and help them forget they’re away from home! For walks, I will do leash training as it helps the dog, the owners, myself and any other future caretakers. You may catch me doing some leash training from the beginning before even walking your dog into my home as I find it’s very important to get off on the right foot with each new dog. I have a lot of fun with leash training and I make it fun for the dogs as well! I offer: •Basic obedience •Crate training •Separation anxiety recovery •Leash training •& more! 🐶 A little more about my past: I was born and raised with many animals. Actually, I like to tell people that I was raised with a pack of dogs when asked “How do you do this?” I had 2 human siblings and 5 canine siblings! So, this is my happy place! I grew up on a farm and spent so much time with my dogs and horses. I have successfully trained my own dogs and even reptiles, as well as assisted in training family members’ and friends’ pets. I’m now a dog trainer with Dog Academy and privately with Ears In The Wind LC! I have loved rescuing and rehabilitating animals, especially when I volunteered for an animal rescue and became a foster mom to many dogs! As the Dog Foster Coordinator for this rescue group, I gained a lot of experience working with animals in rehabilitation from abusive and neglectful ‘homes’ and puppy mills. When boarding shy animals, I’m sure to provide them a comfy space on my lap or in the living room while using baby gates to separate energetic dogs from the shy and low energy dogs. Caring for your pets is more than a job, it fulfills my soul! I am also very accepting and respectful of every individual’s unique situation and am happy to help cater to your pet’s unique routine, administer medications, work on training, etc. Just let me know what specific care needs your pet has and I will treat them like my own. 😊

Mallory was great, our pups were well taken care of and came home exhausted from all the playing.

Mallory was super great and really easy to work with. And she took great care of our boy while we were on vacation.

Mallory sent updates to me about Athena which really meant so much to me! She was very informative about how Athena would be treated! I highly recommend Mallory as a sitter!
