Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a family that always had multiple dogs and have more than 25 years of experience caring for them. I also previously provided pet care through Rover. My husband and I now have a dog of our own, Otis, so I understand firsthand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your dog while you’re away. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing your pup is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. We only welcome dogs from one visiting family at a time, which allows each guest to settle into our normal household routine rather than being surrounded by multiple unfamiliar dogs. Otis is independent and easygoing, so our home is especially well suited for dogs who enjoy canine company but are also comfortable relaxing and having their own space.

Mallory (and her dog, Otis) was a great host for my pup! She communicated clearly and gave thorough updates during and after the stay. He also had a lot of fun too! I wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Mallory is very trustworthy and communicative. Our 60-pound husky, Axl, was well taken care of and he is looking forward to seeing her again. Book Mallory if you can, we certainly will!
Doggo came back from their walk tail wagging, panting and a little stinky. To me those are the signs of a great walk!

Mallory kept our dog (Jasper) for us over a long weekend and she was awesome! Jasper immediately went to her at drop off and you could just tell she loves dogs! She was good with Jaspers daily schedule and even have him his meds. Her home was clean, she was friendly/professional, responded quickly! We will definitely be reaching out to her again!
Mallory is my amazing wife. Due to my allergies, we aren't able to create a home for a furry buddy. This opportunity would give my wife the playful interaction and companionship she has been yearning for many years. She's kind, patient and loves dogs. Everyone loves Mallory, so will your dogs.

Schedule
Pet care is already part of our everyday routine with Otis, so welcoming another dog into our home fits naturally into our day. Our routine includes regular meals, potty breaks, walks, occasional play, and plenty of downtime to relax. I work from home, so I’m around throughout much of the day while still maintaining a normal household routine. Since we only welcome dogs from one visiting family at a time, I’m able to accommodate each dog’s usual feeding, walking, and care schedule as much as possible while helping them settle comfortably into our routine.

I want every dog staying with us to feel comfortable while keeping our home safe and structured. A meet and greet with Otis is strongly recommended before a first stay so we can make sure everyone is comfortable together, and we only welcome dogs from one visiting family at a time. I follow each dog’s normal feeding, walking, potty, and sleeping routine as closely as possible and ask owners to share any important habits, preferences, or behaviors before their stay. Our home has a relaxed environment with a balance of walks, interaction, and plenty of downtime. Pets are not allowed on furniture, and dogs have their own space when they want to rest or decompress. Because Otis is independent and enjoys his downtime, our home is best suited for dogs who are well-socialized, house-trained, comfortable around another dog, and able to settle and relax between activities. My goal is for every stay to feel safe, relaxed, and enjoyable for both our guest and Otis.

A typical day
Our days are pretty relaxed and follow a comfortable routine. We start with a morning potty break and breakfast, followed by a walk and plenty of time to settle in for the day. Throughout the day, your pup can enjoy toys, occasional play with Otis, time outside, and lots of downtime to nap and relax. Otis is independent and enjoys having his own space, so our home is a great fit for dogs who are comfortable doing the same. There’s time for interaction and play, but we also encourage everyone to relax and settle in between activities. We’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, and sleeping schedule as closely as possible so their stay feels familiar and easy.

- Before booking, I’d love to know about your dog’s personality, daily routine, and what helps them feel comfortable in a new environment. Please share their feeding and potty schedule, walking habits, sleeping routine, energy level, and how they typically interact with other dogs. Because we have Otis in the home, it’s especially important for me to know about any history of aggression, reactivity, resource guarding, separation anxiety, destructive behavior, or difficulty settling. I’d also like to know where your dog normally sleeps, whether they are crate-trained, and any quirks or routines that will help make their stay comfortable. Our home is best suited for house-trained, well-socialized dogs who are comfortable around another dog and have a balanced temperament. Otis is fairly independent, so dogs who enjoy some interaction but are also comfortable relaxing and having downtime tend to be the best fit. A meet-and-greet with Otis is strongly recommended before your dog’s first stay. If that isn’t possible, I’ll ask a few additional questions about your dog’s temperament and experience with other dogs before confirming the booking.
