Hi! I am an experienced and energetic individual/ former dog owner looking forward to providing a safe and fun environment for your pet while exploring the joys that NYC parks have to offer. I am fairly new to the neighborhood but am confident enough to find my way around and have fun doing so. I'm an NJ native, nonprofit and NGO professional, and outdoorsy/nature enthusiast. I'm hoping to leverage this opportunity into a positive and enlightening experience all while learning about NYC's parks and being a city dog owner (a future goal for me down the line). I have experience with many different kinds of dogs across all ages, diet preferences, and energy levels. My hours are extremely flexible, and I am available on short notice if necessary. I believe that Mallory would be a great dog walker...when she lived in N.J. she took great care of my 2 cats every weekend. She is very caring and loving to all animals.
Mallory grew up with a family pet (Jack, a chinese Shar Pei) so she has always been a part of the caregiving for him (walking, feeding, playing with him). Pets are family members! Mallory is a thoughtful and considerate young woman. She is conscious, so I feel like she would be attentive to your pet and their needs. Mallory used to babysit too! like 3 children at one time.... the youngest was a baby and the older 2 were in different virtual online classrooms. Mallory not only kept them all safe and fed, they all grew to love her! If she can do that job WELL, she can certainly care for your pet.... keep them safe and fed AND provide the attention they need.
Mallory would be the best dog caregiver I could think of. Not only is she obsessed with dogs and everything about them - taking them out on walks, feeding them, playing with them, and making sure that they are well taken care of - but she is also a responsible person. She is accountable, attentive, and easy to reach: everything a dog parent wants. Her personality is bubbly and she is smart, credible, and kind. I highly recommend having Mal walk your dog! Your dog(s) will love her and so will you.
