Calm, caring cat sitter
I’ve had cats since childhood, been a cat parent for 11 years and have also fostered several rescue cats. This included caring for three pregnant cats through their pregnancies and births, and raising their kittens until they were ready for adoption. And recently, I hand-reared a 3 week old kitten (see profile photo) found alone in a dry wall! She has now been adopted into her forever home 🥰 I also have experience pet sitting through TrustedHousesitters, caring for cats and dogs in their own homes while their owners are away. These experiences have made me confident with feeding routines, litter care, administering medication when needed, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. And most importantly, I really love cats! I will enjoy dropping in to stroke and play with your cats, and will want to give them the best time while you’re away, as I know it can be stressful for some pets (and pet parents!). Just let me know what you and they need to make everyone most happy :-)

Mallory and her partner looked after my cat when I was away for a long weekend. I could not have wished for better sitters. Mallory communicated clearly with me ahead of the sit around their time of arrival and checkout time. Throughout the sit, she kept me regularly updated about the cat. It was clear that the cat had a brilliant time when I was away. I even noticed that she had played with some of her toys which she rarely does with me ! Mallory also looked well after my house. In fact, it was hard to tell that anyone had stayed in the house when I was away as it was immaculate. I have already asked Mallory to sit for me in future as she was such an outstanding sitter.

Schedule
Drop-in visits will generally be first thing, at lunch-time, or early evening. Boarding is in a comfortable spare room which your cat(s) will have completely to themselves, with lots of attention throughout the day and evening.

I am very calm and respectful when entering your home and meeting your pets. I can check that everything is ticking over well while you are away, including taking in the post and putting out the bins.

A typical day
First of all I’ll enjoy a stroke and a cuddle if your cat is in the mood, then I’ll do any litter picking and other tasks, and will have a little play before making sure that they are all set with food and water. I’ll also give plenty more petting and attention throughout my visit. I can’t wait to meet your cats!
