Mallory is a former (retired) licensed veterinary technician. She comes skilled in fear-free handling, and she was in the field for 13 years professionally before retiring. Medications (including insulin) are well within my range of ability, and I have worked with a lot of animals with special needs. I do currently work full-time, so there will be times where I am unavailable during the day. If your pets need walks while you’re away, fantastic! Exploring new neighborhoods with a dog is a lot of fun. I have an eye for detail, so if there is something off about your pet while you’re gone, I will let you know immediately (a limp, new eye discharge, etc.).

I’ll follow your instructions while you’re away. Writing out a little daily itinerary is ideal! When I’m able to, I even stay longer with your pet than our scheduled time so that they can have lots of company while you’re away.

I understand that her daughter had an injury on the day that she was to care for Isabella, and that changed the times that she was available to come. She did make sure Isabella had both her breakfast and her dinner and most of her medication‘s. Some were left in her dinner bowl with uneaten food. I think she really does care about the animals, but of course her own child had to come first. Very understandable.
Mallory did another great job for us. The cats were well cared for and their quirks accommodated. She sent photos of the 3 cats at each visit.
Mallory is always wonderful with our animals. Will continue to book with her in the future!

Schedule
I work full-time, so some requests during the daytime are not able to be fulfilled by me. Pet-sitting is a second income for my household, so I mostly do it for fun to meet new animals. I adjust to your pet’s normal routine as much as possible.
