Pet care experience

"4 out of 4 paws up!" -your dog

Around 2007, my parents brought home a small dog to foster for a few months. That was a "failure" as she was my best friend until 2018. Ever since then, I've fallen in love with animals- from dogs to lizards to cats to birds. Now, as a married college student, I like to offer decent rates for extraordinary attention and care for your animals.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

Currently, I do not offer boarding, so my care for your pets will be in-home. I treat my client's pets as my own. I typically ask for written instructions for the dogs and any household tasks that may need to be done, like taking the garbage can out to the street on a certain day. I strive not to disrupt your pets' routine that they normally have while you are home, and help them feel safe while you are gone.

Mallory has watched my pups a few times at my home and is always great!! Great communication, takes great care of my dogs. It’s so nice not having to worry about them when I have to leave them. My house is left clean as well, I will continue to use Mallory!

Mallory did a great job taking care of our dog and cat while we were out of town! They were both well looked after and she spent most of her time with them which we really appreciated.

Schedule

I recently put my college education on hold to allow my husband and me to build some stability in our finances. I work roughly 30 hours a week at a restaurant in Rexburg, but with 2+ weeks' notice, I can take time off if your pets need 24/7 care. I am more than willing to do that with proper notice, especially in Rexburg!

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs

Mallory can host up to 1 pet per night
The most important thing for me to know about your pets is their medical conditions if they have any. I am experienced with applying medicated ointments and administering pills, however, I, unfortunately, have no experience with injected medications. The temperament of your animals is equally important, which is why I require a meet & greet before booking new clients. It is important to inform any sitter that is caring for your animals to know if they have any triggers, fears, or unusual/unpredictable behaviors. I have years of experience handling reactive and anxious dogs, and I am more than happy to take them on as clients! I just need to be prepared if a dog isn't socialized, so I can ensure their safety and the safety of others.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
