My passion & love for animals has been alive in my heart since the day I could remember. I’ve had dogs all my life but this recent pack we’ve gained over the years has been what’s truly sparked my desire to work more w/ animals. Together with my mother, we’ve fostered and rescued many dogs, 3 of which ended up staying. My soft spot is disabled dogs as 1 of ours is blind, one is deaf & another has a bad leg she can’t use. That being said, I’m comfortable w/ all breeds, ages, sizes and drool!

I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. I make sure theres nothing laying around that they get into, change their water bowls frequently, I check their body for any abnormalities, cuts, ticks, etc and I always make sure they feel so loved while their loved one is away.

Mallory took great care of our dog Murphy! She took him to the park and on walks plenty of times while we were away. I can tell Murphy had a lot of fun with her.
Mallory is sweet, caring, and overall a great human being! She checked on my cat, Panko, while I was away and always kept me updated. Mallory is amazing, and I can tell she has a big heart for animals!! :)
Mallory was absolutely incredible!!! Me and my pup are attached at the hip, so it’s hard for me to leave her when I go out of town. Mallory eased a lot of anxieties and provided Lucy with incredible care! She keeps you well informed, and sends frequent updates of your pet so I never had to wonder! I would highly suggest choosing Mallory for your care!!!

Mallory took fantastic care of both my dogs and my house while I was away. While I can't say enough about the care she gave my dogs and her regular updates (and pictures), I want to focus on how above and beyond any expectations when it came to caring for my home. About midway through my trip, my sinks in my bathroom began to overflow due to a combination of a clog in the line and AC condensate draining. Not only did she promptly inform me of the problem, but she took on some trouble shooting, had to clean up a soaking floor several times before I was able to get a quality plumber to the house, and even provided the name of a good plumber after the first one I hired did nothing to fix the problem. Had I had just about anyone else staying at my home I likely would have come home early to deal with the issue. Thanks to Mallory I came home at my planned time to happy dogs, a dry house, and all towels that were used in the clean up process washed and folded.

Schedule
I currently work part time but have a lot of flexibility and would love to fill in my free time with pups! I also have been with Wag for about 4 years where I’ve completed over 200 walks and recently started with a smaller business called Shady Waggers where I work about 3 days a week, 3-4 walks a day. That can change based on my availability. I’m open to last minute bookings but a few days notice is preferred.

- I always want to ensure the comfort of any animal in my care and with that means understanding and respecting their boundaries. I like to know what can trigger, frighten, or set them off so I know what situations to avoid or prepare for. That includes how they enjoy playing, being pet, taking a bath, etc.
